Bowser beat Kirby, not sure why fools are picking Kirby here (but not voting for him).

Luigi did really well against Tifa.

Im inclined to pick Bowser, though Yoshi is no joke.

Luigi, definitely. He's nearly at Sephiroth's level (my estimate, through Mario vs. Samus, suggests he gets about 47.5% on Sephiroth). Bowser, meanwhile, is worth about 41% on Cloud.

Then we get Cloud and Zelda for #2 and the right to get slaughtered by Link.... again...

well i should say, think Mario would beat Cloud if they had a match. Mario actually beating Cloud is pretty unlikely because if he could, Samus would probably beat him first.

I've always thought Bowser/Luigi/Yoshi are interchangeable and any one of them could win a given year... with Kirby just behind and Ganon slightly ahead against non-Nintendo competition, but would probably lose to any of them straight up.

This year I'd have gone with Bowser (which I did in my bracket).
