The South wants to honor slaves they forced to fight so they wouldn't be freed in some creepy move to seem more PC.

Every single human I've ever met that idealized the Confederacy was also a Nazi.

And yes, slavery was a (if not the main) driving force behind the Confederacy and the civil war.

Anyone who idealizes them is either A) a racist, or B) an ignorant fuck****. With Republicans it's a blurred line.

There were blacks in the Confederate army, but they were either slaves or free blacks forced to work without pay as cooks or servants, said Edgar, a professor emeritus at the University of South Carolina and author of "South Carolina: A History."

Well that has been very educational. They want to create a monument to honor even more slavery I guess.

I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this who will count the votes, and how.
