thanks for the advice! by the power of somebody's Ruler Martha 80, and a better idea of how to set up my team, I was able to....ALMOST finish the first bar this time

is it worth spending spells and sq to beat this/does the rest of the event get easier for some reason or should I just give up and start shinjuku instead

This and Shinjuku are around the same level of difficulty, and BB is also an excellent Servant to use for the hardest fights in Shinjuku, so I would try to stick with it. There are some hard fights coming up, but the event isn't anything crazy.

That fight shouldn't really be that hard though. You need to manage her NP, but otherwise she's nothing special. What team are you actually using?

I actually forgot about Mash until about halfway through the event because she's barely been in the story at all since Solomon <_<

Also I did all of Shinjuku without her as part of the 'only evil units' bond+ thing

Mash is good and really props up Arts as the reliable budget playstyle it is.

I didn't really think about this until now but besides the downtime we had before this event, the game really doesn't give you very much time for farming embers anymore, huh? It's nice for me and everyone else who's been playing since day one, but I imagine if you have lots of servants to level it's pretty hard to find time to do it these days.

It's nice for me and everyone else who's been playing since day one, but I imagine if you have lots of servants to level it's pretty hard to find time to do it these days.

Having just started in November, yeah it really does not. I apple spammed the dead weeks between Guda 2 and CCC to desperately get some more embers to level some bonus Servants for CCC and I'm kinda glad I did.

Hopefully they insert another 1/2 AP Ember into the upcoming dead weeks too because I really need it still.

They'll eventually add 4* and 5* embers to FP summons, which helps a decent amount.

Not sure what we're supposed to get between CCC and Rashomon rerun...

I don't have any of Medb, Siegfried, or Astolfo and I'm not planning on using Billy or Sanson any time soon so I really only have to worry about Boudica (who I'm basically planning on leveling simply because I don't have any other waifu Riders to level currently) because I already have Serenity there.

I'm surprised how well I kept up with this event, actually. Since before it started, I switched to only playing the game at night - effectively only using half of my AP - and I'm looking to 100% the event tomorrow. Pretty good pacing in that regard, I hope future events are similarly generous with their time.

You only need like half of the natural AP you get during the event to 100% it if you follow a guide to play optimally (or have a half-decent understanding of how to optimize it if you don't want to use a guide and are okay with being a bit inefficient).

The prevailing sentiment seems to be the event has overstayed its welcome though so I wouldn't expect it.

Just play more than a half hour

If all you have is typical 40 AP farm nodes then you really only need like 10-15 mins to blow your whole bar. If you've got story and low AP boss stuff to do then yeah that's when the game gets needy about your time.

Holy crap, FINALLY. Google account linking announced for JP. I hope we get it super early like we did the back button. Being able to easily play on the phone while out and on the PC at home is so basic for any other game but I just assumed FGO would stay in the 20th century forever. Legit can't wait for this to get implemented.

Lack of google account linking is probably why I haven't uninstalled yet. I've kinda wanted the space back a few times but if I ever want to get back into the game I don't want to jump through account recovery hoops.

Incidentally, get got back button 11 months early in NA, which would suggest June 2020 for account linking. Could be earlier than that, especially since there aren't too many major new features NA doesn't have now, but we'll see.
