-Mario welcomes us to the Mushroom Kingdom, with special guest SBAllen, representing our proud sponsor, GameFAQs! Allen and Mario banter back and forth for a bit about the recent character battle, before they are interrupted by Bangladesh DuPree! She mocks Allen's refusal to take on characters outside of gaming, and suggests that the reason the site is dying is because everybody knows that webcomics would destroy all of his darlings, just like Draven did! Heck, she could take out that plumberboy of his even! That'll be her Christmas gift to the world at Survivor Series.

-Cueto is seen backstage admiring Bang's gumption, and tells us how great tonight's card is going to be. He's also excited to bring you KWIK ATTACK (Incineroar and Truth) as an official team tonight!

-Match: Rock v. Bang
...Bang doesn't make a great case for herself, and gets barely any offense in en route to a squash. Commentary is mainly talking about Cena being the first eliminated at Backlash.
Winner: Rock

(NB: I have retconned Incineroar's stats now that I've seen him in Smash- he is now more like a heavyweight grappler than a junior >_>)

-Match: David and Eaed v. Kwik Attack (Incineroar and Truth) w/Guzma
The faces get the early advantage with some fluid teamwork, culminating with David chucking a small Christmas tree at Incineroar. After a long period of isolation, Incineroar finally manages to tag out to Truth, who struggles against David. Truth smacks David with the small tree and tags out...but Incineroar eats an End of Days. There's the UCA Special! Incineroar....TAPS!
Winners: David and Eaed

-Incineroar seems quite upset. He wanted to make this work, but he knows where he'll be more appreciated! He pulls out a letter....he's been offered a spot in Smash Brothers! Incineroar signs the contract in the middle of the ring, then walks out the door, growling at the fans.

-Mundo lights a Cena armband on fire to get us used to the destruction of our heroes.

-Match: Cena v. Mundo
Angering Cena proves to have not been Mundo's best idea ever, as Cena comes out fired up and draws Mundo into a brawling match. Mundo gets a late surge, but it's not enough to overcome Super Cena.
Winner: Cena

-Cena points out that Mundo's been on a losing streak ever since Sonic and Mario wrecked him and Bang at Feast or Fired! Mundo's getting old, and in fact is too slow, and maybe that's why Penta named him #1 Contender!

-GRUDGE MATCH: Wiggler v. CPU
The fans are behind Wiggler, but he's probably gonna need more than that against the maniacal leader of MLMF. Starship Pain right off the opening bell, followed by a twist on one of Wiggler's legs. Wiggler turns red and charges, but CPU easily sidesteps it. CPU rolls out of the ring and grabs....a Jack O'Lantern, which he stuffs onto Wiggler's head! Mumbling something about holiday gimmicks, he DDTs Wiggler through the pumpkin, then ends it with a boot scrape and cocky pin.
Winner: CPU

-Record (will not be great quality) a Smash match for MoT. If Mario, Bowser, or Sonic can put somebody through the signs on Suzaku Castle because that's a thing right before Incineroar does or time runs out, they bring the title back to B8WL
-Crown a new champ
-Belt's gone oh well

-Bowser is out, and he wants ANSWERS from the mystery man who turned on him and Miz! A montage plays, contrasting Pentagon being awesome and edgy with Miz filming movies and Bowser running around being Bowsette. @Strife2 steps into the frame and asks why Bowser thought he'd EVER choose him and his friends over the path...of DARKNESS.

-GRUDGE MATCH: Strife v. Bowser
Bowser immediately hits his Side-B off the opening bell. Kamek can be seen at ringside casting something, and Strife finds himself unable to move out of the way of a followup tackle and facebuster. Strife rolls out and lays Kamek out with a Black Hole Slam, but the distraction gives Bowser a chance to dropkick him from behind. Bowser chucks Kamek's limp body at Strife for good measure. Double Axehandle...but Strife nosells and hits the Darkest Lariat! Bowser reels...but comes back with his Side-B again! 1....2....3! Another newcomer heckin' buried, but what if Kamek hadn't been there?
Winner: Bowser

-Bowser grabs a mic and proclaims that is what happens to anybody who messes with KoopAWESOME, the Koopa Klan, or most of all Bowser himself!

-Cueto tries to rile up Taker. The Deadman hasn't impressed him much, but taking out Bryan would get him back in Cueto's good graces.

-B8UCA Title: Taker (c) v. Bryan
Bryan charges in and gets caught with a piledriver! The lights go out as Bryan finds his feet, and Taker teleports behind him. Bryan turns around with a kick, but Taker catches it and throws him back. Bryan tries again, but this time feints and catches Taker, comboing into the Yes Kicks. Bryan keeps at it as Taker sinks to his knees, but perhaps gets too greedy as Taker is able to catch the last one and trap it into a knee bar. Bryan escapes using the ropes to flip himself onto Taker. Back to the kicks AGAIN! He's really piling them on today. Again, Taker is eventually able to catch one, and this time he simply pulls it out from under Bryan. Bryan scrambles for a mounted position, but HELL'S GATE! Taker's got it locked in! ....Bryan taps!
Winner and STILL UCA Champ: Taker

-Bryan is livid as the show goes off the air. He's retired one legend of the ring already, and it looks like he just found number two!

I am saddened. Saddened to find out a return to the ring, and in a unique setting to boot, was foiled by an outsider. What kind of message does it send when a man cannot do his own handiwork? What does it say when a doofus in a hat helped a man claim victory?

It says he doesn't know who he messed with. It says this hallowed hall needs a re-education on the perils of making me...angry.

You see, many of you here are fond of your special powers, or fancy smansy skills. But do you know why UCA feared and respected me? Do you know why I spent five long years in a corner of the arena, away from view, away from other "people?" It was because I am my own weapon. I am my own worst nightmare, and I spent plenty of time learning ways to hurt people.

Show #23

-Panthera welcomes David and Eaed to the Cat Cafe, as cats both real and fursuited mill about! They get to talking about UCA, and how David won the title despite the best efforts of the dastardly XIII_rocks. It turns into a XIII roast...when one of the furries pops out of his costume! It's XIII! He informs us that HE APPEARED IN B8WL BY TRICKING US ALL INTO THINKING HE WAS A FURRY, then hits all parties concerned with 13 Rocks before running away and cackling.

-Bryan is tired of ALL these guys in B8WL. The young guys that don't listen, the UCA guys that are jokes, and most of all the old guys who should have retired long ago. Tonight he'll dispose of Kenshin, but then he's gonna tap out the Undertaker and finally bring some credibility to the UCA Title for the first time in its existence. David is still fuming at XIII when he stumbles across this promo and gets in Bryan's face. David slaps Bryan! Bryan just laughs and gets ready to go to the ring.

-Match: Kenshin v. Bryan
Kenshin's got a bit of a chip on his own shoulder, with his recent edge and feud with Panthera. The action is fast and furious, with neither man getting a significant advantage. Bryan grabs the sakabato and gives Kenshin a few unskilled whacks, then seems surprised when the ref calls for the bell! Everybody else gets away with murder in this fed, and Kenshin is the one who brought the thing to ringside, and he should've had til 5 anyway! Whatever, he wants Kenshin and that stupid fake sword in a cage match once he's done with Taker! One step closer to his master plan of feuding with everybody on the roster simultaneously.
Winner by DQ: Kenshin

-Match: David and Eaed v. Men of Low Moral Fiber (Kora and Eddv) w/CPU
Flandre accompanies the heels to the ring, as they make half-hearted attempts to dissuade her from "playing" with the audience. David works up the crowd and then tags in Eaed without doing anything, lol. Eaed struggles a bit against a series of quick tags, but manages to escape a tackle and tag back out. ...David doesn't do any better, though, and soon falls to a bodyslam/elbow drop combo from Eddv. Not a squash per se, but perhaps this isn't the next great tag team after all.
Winners: MLMF

-MLMF are happy to avenge Incineroar's loss and subsequent departure, especially since they have a NEW MEMBER joining them tonight! Introducing the fourth Man of Low Moral Fiber....R-Truth! Truth comes out in Nexus merch and says that the truth will expose the CONSPIRACY behind NXT!

-Match: Miz w/Bowser v. Bison
Bison tries to ambush Miz before the bell, but Bowser intercepts him. Once the match proper starts, Bison suplexes Miz on his head. He takes it funny, but the match continues. Miz gets a lot of sympathy, and feeds off it for a rally! Miz then goes right for a choke of VENGEANCE, and squeezes the life out of Bison for a bit. That's a stoppage!
Winner by stoppage: Miz

-KoopAWESOME aren't done with Strife and Penta and Mundo and that whole lot yet. Miz is feeling that awkward suplex, but after a few weeks to heal, he is coming for Strife in a HARDCORE MATCH. Because of him and his buddies, Miz is out of the title picture entirely now! Strife comes out, but so do Penta and Mundo! Bison's getting up, too...even with Bowser, this is a 4-on-2. It's a beatdown! Bowser is ejected from the ring....and Strife holds Miz down while Mundo pillmanizes Miz's already injured neck! The announcers switch to Serious Voice as Miz is stretchered out.

Decision: Should this end Miz's career? He just got DOUBLY injured for a total of 8 weeks (injuries usually last 1d6 weeks, so this is over cap and maybe that should mean something).

-Mario and Sonic come out for the save eventually, and have a match tonight with Mundo and Bang anyway. Mundo is tired of their lip, and doesn't want to hear any whining when they lose tonight...or when they lose again at Survivor Series!

-Mario and Sonic v. Mundo and Bang
Sonic's a bit banged up from a couple weeks ago, but he's able to run off rage and pull his weight regardless, even after a strong opening salvo from Bang. He gets a bit carried away though, and brawls on the outside with Mundo, missing a crucial opportunity as Bang beats up Mario. Sonic does eventually make it back to the corner for a HOT TAG, but the ref doesn't see it! While Sonic and the ref argue, Mundo kicks Mario below the belt....Big Bang Theory! 1.....2.....3! Great (if illegal) teamwork there!
Winners: Mundo and Bang

-Maniac feels bad about Miz, but right now it's not his job to get involved in the Survivor Series match, and he certainly won't be showing pity to Bowser. Right now, what matters is this Hardcore Title, and nobody's taking that from him, whatever other chaos is happening.

-HARDCORE TITLE: King Maniac (c) v. Bowser
Maniac doesn't even get to hand over the belt before Bowser rushes him. Bell rings and Maniac hits Bowser with the title! Maniac back into the ropes...Lunatic Lariat! Bowser meets him with a Whirling Fortress, and both are down! Bowser is up first...and chucks Maniac through a ringside table! Looks like some Koopas are the minions du jour, as they pester Maniac while he tries to find his feet. Bowser delivers a resounding chop (WOOOO) and throws Maniac into the barricade. Bowser finds a shovel under the ring and breaks it over Maniac's head, but only gets a 1-count on the pin. Maniac grabs a tray of beers from a vendor, and bashes Bowser with it...but Bowser hyper armors through it with his patented dropkick! Maniac's down...Bowser Crush! 1....2.....3!
Winner and NEW Hardcore Champion: Bowser

-Bowser thinks he's proved that Maniac and his little UCA buddies need to stay out of his business!

-Penta is upset that his choice of Mundo as #1 Contender isn't being upheld, but Cueto appears to soothe him. After all, whoever makes it out of the Survivor Series match will be nice and tired when they face the champion...

-Match: Boots to Asses (Cena and Rock) v. B8WL Champ Penta and Strife
Heels are able to cut off the ring and isolate Cena with surprising ease. Strife even has time to wander over to the announce table and talks about how he and Penta and Mundo are going to DESTROY B8WL, starting with these Team Cena fools. Probably shouldn't have done that though, because Cena is able to rally and tag out before Strife returns to his post. No matter, though- Strife comes in for the doubleteam on Rock before tagging in. Rock gets Penta in the Sharpshooter, and drags him away from the ropes to extend it! Noted chain wrestler Rock then transitions into a series of rest holds before Penta is able to reverse one and tag out. Strife comes roaring in with a boot to the head, but Rock retaliates with an Axehandle Smash. One...two...no! Tag to Cena...AA! 1....2...3!
Winners: Boots to Asses
Cueto's music hits, and he points out that Strife left the match area to talk with the announcers. As a result...this match is VOID! #petty, see you at Survivor Series.

So watching old and new CHIKARA at the same time led me to the realization that a random team up in season 4 is a massive event in CHIKARA history that causes huge storyline ripples which can still be felt in season 20. Including at least 1 and maybe even 3 evil stables (2 of them multi season big bads) being created/showing up.

Might be the most important random event in CHIKARA history and it all happened because of a partner being picked from a hat.

Talk of lethal lottery just made me think of it.

B8WL Presents Survivor Series

-Miz starts in the ring, Maryse by his side. Miz thanks the fans for their support, but unfortunately the rumors are true and he will no longer be a member of the active roster here. However, he is pleased to announce that he has taken a job as assistant GM! Miz and Maryse both tear up a bit as the fans thank him.

-david is seen backstage extolling the virtues of UCA to Estelle Bright, who seems very interested. She tells him to get out there and give Bison a pummeling!

-Match: davidponte v. M. Bison
Bison suckerpunches david while he makes his entrance! R-Truth comes out, seeking vengeance for Incineroar, but here comes eaed to save his buddy, and Bowser to avenge Miz! Team Pentagon and MLMF all run out, as do Maniac and some of the other faces, and we have PANDEMONIUM IN THE ARENA. Security and refs eventually manage to break up the melee. Senior official Charles Robinson rules the match a double DQ, but here comes Estelle! That's not what the fans want to see, and david did nothing wrong! She convinces him (with a mixture of diplomacy and the business end of her staff) to restart the match.

-For real this time: davidponte v. M. Bison
Bison still manages to sneak in a chair shot before the bell, but David slams it back into him! Dropkick sends Bison into the ropes, but he pulls in David and burns him on said ropes. David grinds a boot into Bison's face...then goes for the End of Days! Bison's down, but not out...and comes back with a Scissors Kick! Bison dumps David to the outside with a Devil Reverse. Eaed comes back out in time to take away another chair from Bison. Bison gets Eaed in a hammerlock, but that's wasting valuable time, and David spins him around for a good ol' right hook. Bison wobbles, but throws David under the ring. Count is approaching 20....Bison blasts the whole ring with Psycho Power multiple times! The smoke clears, the count hits 20, and Bison is the only one in the ring, or even visible.
Winner by countout/ring destruction: Bison

-While attacking the ring itself with psycho power isn't technically against the rules, Miz is very disappointed with the property damage. He chews Bison out for a bit before retrieving david (complete with cartoony blackened skin) from under the ring.

-The Men of Low Moral Fiber are backstage. Eaed changed teammates on them, but the result is gonna be the same as last week! They aren't scared of the King of the Ring, and in fact he might notice something missing! They bring out Maniac's crown, and then start stomping on it and beating it with chairs! The crown is ruined, and they're gonna do the same thing to its owner!

-Match: Eaed w/Time Cops and King Maniac v. Men of Low Moral Fiber (Kora and Eddv w/Caelus)
Maniac starts by powering Eddv to the outside and following with a baseball slide. Tag to Eaed, but Eddv overpowers him in a test of strength and elbows him. Knee to the throat, tag to Kora. Eaed tries to make the tag, but Kora pulls him into a short-arm clothesline and tags back out. Eddv takes a SHOT and does a SQUAT before the Time Cops confiscate the alcohol. Kora sneaks in a shot at Maniac while the ref breaks them up. Eaed slips away from Eddv and makes the HOT TAG. Maniac takes out Kora and slaps a mean hammerlock on Eddv...but Caelus pulls Maniac's foot, allowing Eddv to break the hold! DDT! Now in control, Eddv tags out to Kora. Maniac reverses an arm twist into a wrist lock, and tags in Eaed. Kora ducks a clothesline and hits a Codebreaker! Tag back to Eddv, who gets a clothesline for his trouble, all the way from Heck! Eaed covers! 1....2....3!
Winners: Eaed and Maniac

-Eaed and Maniac inform us that the RANDOMANIACS are back, and here to dominate B8WL! yeah woooooo

-Kenshin is tired of Panthera's whining. They've been going back and forth for a while now, but it ends here, like it should've ended when he put Panthera in a dumpster. Everybody's going to see who the better man is tonight, and then Daniel Bryan is going to find out why they call Kenshin Manslayer.

-2/3 Falls: Panthera w/cats v. Himura Kenshin
No love lost between these two faces at this point. Panthera charges into a drop toe hold, but keeps his footing, stumbles forward, and rebounds into a springboard moonsault. Fans pop, and Kenshin gets riled up, dodging a runin from a cat. Kenshin misses a corner splash, but Panthera takes an elbow to the gut going for a punish. Ryushosen! And again! Kenshin picks up Panthera for a powerbomb, but gets reversed into a rana. Kenshin rolls onto the apron, but Panthera just tackles him to the outside. Ryukansen! Both men make it back into the ring, where Kenshin continues his attack. Ryutsuisen...Kenshin measures Panthera up....Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki...whiffs! The cats surround the ring, alarmed at the close dodge. Panthera can't dodge a followup Ryushosen. The ref checks on Panthera, and the cats attack! Kenshin takes quite a few scratches before the ref can restore order, after which he is still distracted. ...Or maybe it was bait, as he catches a charging Panthera with a Pele kick! 1....2.....3!
First fall: Kenshin
Kenshin tries to wrap this up quickly with his finisher....but Panthera cuts him off with the Pounce! Both men down, no cover. Kenshin's first up, and administers a basic slam into a Kuzuryusen. Kenshin keeps it up with a somersaulting elbow strike, catching the ref in the fallout though. A cat enters. It.....powerbombs Kenshin, somehow! Ref wakes up, cover! 1....2.....3!
Second fall: Panthera
Another reset, and then Panthera goes to work on Kenshin's arms before hitting a rana. Kenshin's not going down that easy, though, even as Panthera slams him and slaps on a chinlock. Kenshin fights out, but misses a corner spear. Panthera gets a sleeper hold on, but Kenshin turns it into a Bulldog, then hits some more of his signatures. Panthera's down...1......2....3!
Winner: Kenshin

((my homebrew rules for this need revision for next time- it was way too easy for Kenshin to win after scoring the first fall, and only some extreme luck kept Panthera competitive. Easy fix, just didn't want to change rules mid-match.))

-Kenshin reminds us that Bryan is NEXT. Somebody needs to shut that David guy up too.

-Bryan is backstage reminding us that he is the only real professional wrestler worth a damn in this fed. Rock takes some objection to that.

At the announce table, Vampiro seems to have mistaken Taker for Konnan. Bryan opens with a series of kicks to the midsection, but Taker fires back with a bionic elbow. Striker tries to calm Vamp down, but Vamp is not having it! Bryan tries to take Taker down, but underestimates Taker's MMA penchant and finds himself in Hell's Gate! Bryan gets to the ropes, but Taker just suplexes him. Vamp has gotten up from his spot, and is at ringside yelling obscenities at Taker! Taker has had about enough of this, and Tombstones the apparently-senile legend. The match just kinda ends at that point, officially called a DQ win for Bryan, as medics attend to the announcer.

-Taker does not suffer fools, whether they be little weasely men or retirees.
