Auron is a breaker/Chainer.

Gladiolus will be hedgehog stopper, while the fake captain will be charm proof.

Jecht will be a chainer, just like Altima for magic.

Tifa will continue the DR+line.

Caith Sith will replace Vanille in the arena.

Nanaki will be be pretty good just like Beowulf.

Aerits replaces Ayaka.

It's good for FFBE. Not good for games that are actually generous and haven't trained us to compare the game against itself.

For instance, Idle Heroes released their Black Friday Bundle at the switch yesterday. It's $20.

For that $20 you get 800 gems (the equivalent of 1,818 lapis), 88k gold * your level (I've been playing for 6 weeks, and am level 97. That's 8.5 million gold, and gold is 10x more important than Gil in FFBE, you use it for everything), and 2 Glorious Relics, which are really valuable items you can trade in for top level gear and heroes of your choice. Not a random chance at something, you actually get to choose.

You don't just get that once either, it's every day for 15 days. So lets add this up. 128,000,000 gold, when gold is needed for everything you do. The equivalent of 27,270 lapis, and what amounts to about 5 UoC stubs... For $20.

For $100, FFBE gives you a 10+1 with a guaranteed random rainbow, 20,000 lapis, a 10% Moogle (they throw moogles at us all the time now. Not worth anything), and raid coins. Also worthless.

Gumi has trained us to think anything that isn't a ripoff is generous, when it's still really bad compared to other games.

I'm pretty sure Cave of Riches has become more NRG efficient when it comes to farming Gil.

Yeah I think so. Its the same NRG but you get a flat 170k with Xon. You'd have to get 3 battles of all gil snapper families in order to beat that.

ALSO hot damn all of those bundles are amazing actually compared to the tripe gumi usually pawns on us.

Speaking of that... Eve's a raid unit in Japan, right? Can't wait to see if Gumi changes his mixer value when (if?) they bring that over here.

Which banner would you suggest a fairly new player to pull on? Been working my way through the main story and have gotten a few units which can go to 7*.

Well the Nier banner is limited so after the banner is done you wont be able to pull for them ever again.

If you want sustainable units you can actually build upon I'd say go for the 7 star banner.

Or you can just wait and nto pull at all and see if next week is something youre interested in.

Note that there are 200% mag/atk buffs applied to show final atk/mag in battle with her CD buff.

This is approximately 10% more powerful than the BIS for Hyoh. The gear here isnt really that terrible. No STMRs. But if you replaced the marshal glove with Florid hairpin it would raise the mag even more. This also shows that a close balance of atk/mag is preferred for her.

Unfortunately the other 5 units on the banner weren't useful to me at all, (well, maybe Balthier. I'd get his STMR, but if there's a unit I'd want to use a gun on I don't have them yet) so I didn't. I also needed to save for Sieg, since at the time I needed a 7* phys tank more than anything.

Against my better judgement, I decided to do the Step Up banner once.

1x A2 (so 2 total)
1x Queen (my 4th)
1x Pure Summoner Rydia (new)

I'm also flat broke on gil again since I awoke Queen and 2B and got their STMRs.
