They spend all this time telling us Becky's the heel and why Becky has to be the heel and why we need to cheer Charlotte. And then they have to have Charlotte fill in against Rousey so they turn Charlotte heel literally with no reasoning other than "She's always been a bitch" which is literally why fans were cheering Becky over her in the first place and yet WWE kept going "No."

So now we've got Charlotte being pushed as this heel destined to fight Rousey and suddenly Becky, the one good part of it all, is the least important part of the whole thing and Asuka's literally filler to eat a fall.

Like, I'll happily accept being wrong, but I don't at all trust them.

They're working towards Charlotte/Rousey at RR and Becky/Rousey at WM. It seems fairly obvious at this point.

If anything, we moving towards Charlotte/Asuka 2 at WM depending on if Becky drops the title at TLC.

Doesn't matter how Jericho is booked, they can always lean on "first ever undisputed champion." Randy Orton is a 13-time world champion. Brock Lesnar is the longest reigning world champion in the modern era. Etc.

I wasn't saying it as a knock against Asuka. I was saying it in response to something Rock was saying about how he thinks WWE made Charlotte heel based on fan demand and not just Becky getting hurt. It's a point that's a bit irrelevant to what we were arguing in the first place.

He was saying they would've just thrown Asuka against Rousey if they weren't giving the fans what they wanted or... Something. I forget by now.

My point was that WWE didn't turn Charlotte because they wanted to give fans what they wanted. The injury forced their hand since they wanted a heel to beat Rousey down, period, and Charlotte was the only one they felt was on that level.

And I'm just telling you that if they wanted to keep Charlotte face, they had plenty of viable options to keep her that way. Asuka is absolutely as credible as Charlotte when you look at how poor Charlotte's post-WM run was (hint there was a lot of losing and her big Summerslam victory ended in her getting her ass beat). Why not send Asuka? Give Asuka the chance to turn heel and give Charlotte a new heel foil for her on Smackdown so they can keep her babyface.

All the injury did was move along the process sooner, no more than the Ambrose turn was pushed up thanks to Roman's leukemia.

To be fair, he said there's gonna be a Charlotte/Rousey II possibly at RR and then "Becky/Rousey at Mania maybe, though it could also be a triple threat."

He was giving word on definitely more Charlotte, not that the end plan is definitely Becky/Rousey.
