After going through 2 boxes worth of raid passes I finally got a shiny lugia and hit level 39. Also tomorrow me and boogum hit ultra friends, I believe thats @JoanOfArcade yes?

Theres quite a few players like that around here that pretty much refuse to do any combat stuff, just grind catching Pokmon. I guess its pretty easy to just jam a Pokmon in a gym and avoid any battling. I think its a bit more common with the spoofer though.

With all the Friendship bonuses and other things, I read that you can go from level 1 to 40 in as little as 90 days now.

Heatran was announced as the new t5 raid boss. While he has decent stats, Niantic gave him a terrible moveset

As a fire attacker, he's outclassed by Moltres, BB Charizard, and Entei. Then he lacks a steel fast move although, even if he had one, he likely wouldn't be as good as MM Metagross.

Whatre the best Pokmon to use to try and solo A-Raichu? I get pretty close with the recommendation party but I know those arent always the best for winning.

The recommended parties usually suck. When looking for a solo guide, your best bet is always Gamepress

I've usually just stuck to SB Mewtwo and B/C TTar and usually won with a comfortable margin. Now that Rhyperior is a thing, I might try anchoring with one. Plus next time I might try leading with a L/SB Gengar or two for faster DPS.

Recommended teams suck, as mentioned. I tried a team recommended by Poke Genie, and it sucked too. I went with my Instinct and used Mewtwo and some Dark attackers; Tyranitar and Houndoom will get the job done.

eh. I'm not pizza but some people (myself included) don't care about the meta at all.

I just want one of every mon, I don't care about it's stats or movesets. and as soon as I evolve a pokemon all the way through I pretty much stop catching them forever.

If you don't have solid Pokemon, it's that much harder to get every Pokemon. Other than that, collecting is the tiniest portion of the game.

Not really. All pokes are available either in the wild, through eggs, raids, or quests.

You dont need solid Pokmon to catch wild Pokmon or hatch eggs or do quests. And raids are easy if you have enough people, even if not everyone has good Pokmon.

Collecting is the only part of the game that matters to me. I have like, millions of stardust and a few lucky eggs and other items that Ill probably never use because they mean nothing to me.

Boo! You're being so unbelievably lame. idk, can't imagine what it's like to have hordes of players nearby whenever you need them. I'm used to just solo'ing t3s and duoing or trioing most t4s. And trying to do legendaries has been a pain ever since Niantic killed maps because it takes time to get a group together.

I guess thats just not a problem where I live. 4 and 5 star raids will always have at least 4 people. Legendary raids Ive never gone to one with less than eight people ready to go as soon as it starts.

I'm surprised because Poochyena has periodically been a kinda common Pokemon. My seen count is 223.

At any rate, it's weird that you got a lucky if you've seen that few. I've had one lucky out of the 223 I saw, which I would up trading for another shiny Poochyena which went lucky. I have two shiny Magikarp that I'm hoping to do the same thing with eventually for the same result.

It's phenomenally rare for me to get in a raid group. For one thing I don't have a car so I can't typically go out of my way to join groups. I basically have to hope there's a raid near where I am, and that there's already a group there. My best bet is Community Days, where there are already people gathered anyway.

Pretty much just trading (and better friends = better odds). There was a chance that some eggs could hatch lucky, but I think that's over.

Originally, the base IVs for luckies were 10/10/10 but iirc it's now at least 12/12/12... so I have some junky luckies with sub-80% IVs (and also kinda junky ones with sub-90% IVs). I have a 93% lucky MM Metagross, a lucky 93% Lick Gengar, and a lucky 93% Machamp (which is my weakest active Machamp)

Unless you're going for a lucky dex, it probably wouldn't matter to you. They give the dex entries the same sparkly effect you see behind a lucky and it shows up for dex shinies even if you don't have a lucky shiny.

Can't remember if I mentioned it, but it's bugging me -- I dun goofed! Forgot to transfer my spare Beldums, Larvitars, and a few other things while the bonus was still active. Thought I had more time for some reason. Means I'm going to be short on Beldum candy which I needed to power up that lucky one.

For me, it was because I started the first day. Then after a couple weeks, stopped. Then played sporadically. Then got back into it when the topics started up here. Then have to stop for a few months after making some friends because my phone died and I didn't replace it for a few months until my boss made me... So, I missed a bunch of events and things...
