A lightning ninja rat. Overall, I don't hate him. Not much else to say just because he feels really similar to all of the other tiny furry characters so far; they just took an existing cliche (ninja) and made him a rat or whatever.

Kha'Zix


The Voidreaver is some kind of monster that specializes in hunting down and killing isolated targets and feeding on their fear. Hell yeah, now that's more like it. I also like his design a lot. Definitely one of the cooler looking monsters featured thus far. Good chance that once I look over things I actually rate him even higher than Aatrox. All hail THE VOID.

Kindred


Apparently a pair of characters, Wolf and Lamb, who fights together and are controlled by a single player. I like their character designs and concepts, the Wolf especially looks really menacing and cool. All that being said I've never "understood" this archetype in MOBA. I thought the entire think about these games is that they are supposed to be skill based, and so having an AI controlled companion... even one that you can direct and give commands to... doesn't feel intuitive. Maybe it's just because I'm bad at controlling more than one character at a time that I don't tend to like them.

Gameplay aside, Kindred are pretty cool and they will receive a high placement. They are kinda furry but I see them more as cool monsters that just happen to be animals...

Kled


He's a cartoon dog that runs around on a chicken jousting stuff. Honestly of the "bad" little furry designs this one is at least the funniest. He's actually both the funniest looking and the funniest in concept. On top of that, 'Guy riding a horse' is vague enough that it doesn't just feel like a lazy "Cliche + Small Animal" combination. He may actually rank favorably.

Kog'Maw


One of the less cool giant monster designs featured so far. At first I thought he was a giant space turtle because all I could see was his face, and that, would have been really rad. Afterwards, eh, not so much. I actually like giant insect type monsters but it feels like League is kinda weak when it comes to designing them -- or at least hit or miss.

Probably won't fare any better than Cho'Gath for overall placements.

I'd like to see his dance if anyone wants to link it.

LeBlanc


Leblanc the Deceiver is like an immortal sorceress or something. Kinda fits the trope of old evil ugly witch that you'd see in a lot of fantasy materials but instead she's pretty hot and not that old looking. Her skins are kinda all over the place and some of them drastically alter her appearance. That makes it tough for me to factor those into her overall rating, but thankfully I kinda just like her base design well enough anyway.

They don't quite so easily break out of the "standard human" mold but I think ancient evil magic users are a trope I've always been fond of. Plus she has some cool eye make up.

Lee Sin


Your standard blind monk trope, although I gotta say his ingame model looks a bit on the scrawny side. I guess he relies more on martial arts than brute strength. He has a LOT of skins so I'm guessing he's been in the game for a while and/or he's just really popular. I don't have too much else to say about him -- feels similar to Ahri for me -- I see the appeal, but I don't love him or anything. Though, to be fair, I like him a lot more than Ahri based on design alone...

Leona


Another Paladin looking character, a type of human that must be popular in this setting. Uniquely, Leona is literally named after a Fire Emblem game. For a standard fighter chick I think her design is actually pretty cool and hits some of those perfect sweet spots for my own personal preferences; she's wearing armor and it's like real armor, not just some skimpy outfit with metal plates. She seems strong and capable but doesn't look too masculine or bulky.

She even has brown eyes which is my favorite eye color. Definitely on the upper range of the generic human contenders!

Lissandra


Another powerful witch and this time it's an even more nonhuman looking frost witch. Man, those are some broad shoulders though. Where did she get those shoulderpads from? Azeroth? Lissandra has some really nice skins but her base design definitely looks a bit more on the clunky side. In particular note I'll give credit to her coven splash art which I think looks very spicy... ironic for a frost witch, I guess.

Are Chromas the ingame character models or are they something else? If so, I think her chroma look pretty cool. It's really just that main splash art which is drawn in a way that makes her look much worse than she really is... Looking past that I had to do a bit more speculation and thinking to figure out exactly where to rate her.

Overall I ended up liking Lissandra a lot which means we got three really high placing characters in this last batch. Apparently the letter L is really powerful!

Another human paladin type dude who apparently can shoot lasers or something. I didn't look at his skins right away so it took me a little while to realize that he actually wields laser guns, or like, magic guns that shoot lasers. As far as the action hero type guys go, he's pretty decent among them... but not really anything special to where he could break away from the rest of the pack. I just stuck him between Daren and Garius without putting much thought into it.

Lulu


Apparently she's a yordle but I won't hold it against her, or at least I'll try not to much. I rank her closer to the level of someone like Kled who I thought was actually kinda cool/funny looking, maybe even a bit better in Lulu's case. When I was originally reading about her I thought she was just some kind of fairy or pixie and so that might have painted my opinion in a slightly better way -- thinking she was some kind of mystical creature instead of a weird furball dressed up as a cliche.

(My current headcanon for the yordles that don't look like dogs is that someone shaved all of their fur)

Lulu's design is inherently amusing and somewhat hilarious to me. Honestly I would have liked to see something like Lulu in KDA. That would have been some funny shit, at least. Once I thought about it I ended up putting her even a full tier above Kled, who was a full tier ahead of most yordles, so that puts her like two standard deviations above the norm!

Lux


A female caster who uses light magic, which, I can take it or leave it. The fact that she fights using a wand is actually pretty cool though, always been a fan of wand users. Lux looks like someone who is very close to what, I think at least, most normal people would consider to be very attractive? Someone correct me if I'm wrong cause I'm definitely not normal and I can just say I don't really get it. I mean, I get it, like I think I can understand when I see someone who is supposed to be attractive, but yeah.

I don't hate Lux but I look at her and I feel nothing. Her witch outfit looks pretty cool though. Honestly "just below Ahri" seems like a good placement. If there's a bunch of memes about her blinding people with her brilliant aura then maybe she could rank higher.

Malphite


Malphite definitely falls more into the category of monster guys who looked cool based on their face portrait, but the full body skin looks significantly less cool. It's almost sad that in ranking around half the league roster there's already been enough of these that it has become its own thing.

For what it's worth his legacy stuff looks notably much, much worse. So I guess they did what they could with a character that had a really lame design to begin with. The end result ends up being pretty decent actually and I definitely think he ranks above the rest of the characters in that same type of grouping. Like I think about Kog'Maw and Cho'Gath and I definitely wouldn't rate him as low as those monsters.

Malzahar


A void altered human, which seems to have a pretty good track record on these rankings; I'll just say I thought he looked pretty sweet already just from first glance. I was sort of hoping he'd be some kind of shadow creature or maybe a wraith but I guess they really like going back to the same concepts and tropes over and over again. In spite of all that I still think his base design is awesome. Also I thought his name was pronounced MAL-UH-ZARR at first, and now that I realized it's pronounced MAL-ZAH-HARR I like his name a lot more.

His skins are ridiculously stupid for the most part, some of the dumbest ones for a "cool" character I've seen so far on the list. On the other side though he does have some cool monster pets that he can probably summon or control. Hey, I'm not gonna pretend I read about his abilities, but I can at least imagine what I think he probably does!

Comfortably finds his way into high tier, but I definitely wouldn't rate him higher than Aatrox.

yeah there was a time where china put their own splash arts in and were pretty much a major improvement across the board (riot even took some of them for a while) until riot redid pretty much everyone's artwork or reworked the champion completely

the main difference I see aside from the artwork improving is that they made her hair look more natural. and, honestly, I guess riot finally figured out what the average person already knows; more normal/cool looking outfits are straight up my attractive than bizarre fetish gear designed to look 'hot.'

that being said I just like monsters either way and nudity or bare skin doesn't really bother me or anything either, so I still like her older design. there's plenty of monsters who run around completely naked and I don't think of that as being sexual really.

In terms of general look and concept I'll take the new one but I felt the old one had better skins in general by a lot. I'd probably most want to use default Evelynn nowadays. Shadow Evelynn was improved but not much else.
