He has ridiculous HP and regeneration but is slow and his only ranged attack is throwing a knife. The others are setting himself on fire to deal damage to whoever gets close, boosting his attack, and a special that boosts his speed and regen like crazy. Also all of his attacks are self-damaging since he is some kind of masochist.

The strategy is spending most of the battle keeping distance and throwing the knife at the opponent like an annoying pos. Then when they are about 50% down in HP, you wait for them to get close, ambush them and use every other skill at once. You are suddenly fast, strong, immortal and ablaze, so you chase your opponent like a horror movie monster and kill them.

so Evelynn is about one of the handful of league characters that I already knew about before starting this project. you can leave it up to your wild imagination how I might be familiar with her, but I will say that if you've been following this list so far you can probably guess she is going to end up at or near the top.

some of her traits that I really like are her very long and sharp fingers, and also her lips, which are often accentuated in pretty much any art I've seen of her. I don't particularly like how her skins all try to make her look more human, when I think her natural demonic form is the most attractive, but she still looks so damn good in all of them so I can't complain too much. seeing her as a demon but in different outfits would be a lot cooler, though.



I still don't know anything about any of her abilities or playstyle but I can say that I expect her to probably end up at the top of the ranking list and uh... so far no one else has really even come close

and yes she gets two pictures because she is just that special

imagine my disappointment when I read this guys name and assumed he was going to be an awesome demon or something. whoops.

all that being said he's a roughly normal looking dude with a bit of style, and some of his skins are very stylish as well. I can't hate on that too much. I can hate on the fact that his fighting style is apparently so generic he just fires energy "bolts" and "projectiles"

okay that name alone is going to score him some points. probably one of the funniest things to appear so far. literally fiddlesticks the harbinger of doom. someone actually came up with that and the idea got greenlit. amazing. it's 2018 folks.

him apparently being a scarecrow was somewhat disappointing, I think that's a bit of a lame and generic design sadly. when I saw just his face portrait I thought he was some kind of bizarre monster with a form that didn't make much sense... I guess my mind filled in the blanks, making him look unique... then I looked at the full picture and 'oh he's just a generic scarecrow guy.'

final placement: funny idea, not terribly cool character... ehhh... better than lots of other stuff on the list, still

relatively cute girl, and a melee fighter, hey I'm on board with that. she has a couple of pretty amazing skins, as well. I'm just going to imagine her fighting and playstyle is pretty boring but I'm perfectly fine with that. seems cool enough.

ranking: will probably end up on the higher end. I'm actually struggling to decide if she's better than caitlyn or not, but I'm a huge fan of rifles so cait probably wins out... which also makes me realize I still like Aatrox more than this lady, too. damn he's badass.

I generally have a bias against smaller characters as seen so far on this list, but I will say this little guy is the coolest one so far. He has a mix of dumb and cool skins, but his base design is a good mix of being awesome but also somewhat cute and goofy. Not sure he really wins points as a 'monster' because he doesn't look very scary, but he is technically a monster race of some kind I would think.

overall: surprisingly high for being a tiny character. he's more cute than badass but I like the concept and I think it was executed decently enough. honestly as I was skimming the list I started to find that I liked him more than... a lot of these. talk about an underdog!

Apparently he's a colossus. When I first looked at him I thought he was a dragon wearing armor, which made me highly suspicious of him and so I like him a lot less overall. He's a melee tank so I can naturally picture in my head what he probably does in the game; stands there like a jackass accomplishing nothing while ranged characters run in circles shooting him in the butt.

placement: okay this thing is definitely a dragon, you cannot tell me otherwise. he is not sneaking out of the furry tier.

a waayyyyyyy too on the nose pirate character. Similar to some of the previous entries on this list I think they are trying absolutely too hard with Gangplank. Just dial it back a few notches, damn. His abilities are literally shit like "parrrrrrley" and "cure scurvy" by eating oranges. like come on.

this guy was designed by a 9 year old who opened up a geocities webpage on why pirates are cool, and copied all the design notes from there. that web page? also started by a less cool 9 year old.

placement: and of course there's a ghost pirate skin too, he's losing points for that

Gangplank signifies the line where the character is just absolutely too fucking goofy and forced for me to respect the character designers who made him.

I love Galio, particularly now that he got reworked he flies off the screen with his ult and you can read the extra effects. Yeah, he's a gargoyle like said. Only thing dumb is he's said to be more the size of a character from SotC, but his in game model is easily outsized by Cho'Gath and one other champion on this list.

I was wondering about that actually since some of the splash arts make a few of the characters look absolutely titan sized. Are they really that much bigger than the human sized champions in game?

Hell yeah Evelynn. Probably my favorite in the game.

I liked her alot before her redesign-- haven't played much since that. I assume you probably wouldn't have liked her as much with her older looks but she is one of the few redesigns I actually kinda like so she'd still be up there for me either way.

Also no all the champions are relatively similarly sized. Some are bigger and some are smaller but not by all that much. Cho'gath is the only one that can get pretty significantly bigger since it's a mechanic that he grows when he eats more things with his ultimate, but even he at max size isn't SUPER big or anything. Like 2-3 times bigger than the normalish sized champs tops.

It's still such a stupid move to make, and I maintain they're hack writers if they can't make that work, especially since their excuse was that it was too constricting and all of the stories they've told since haven't needed the summoner lore to be removed.

I find that weird, the summoner story actually seemed like something that would make writing characters more flexible, not less.

What else would be a reason for all those people from completely different backgrounds to be there killing each other in organized matches?
