Only one (Anivia) of my three or four favorites has been ranked but I expect the rest to rank low. Except maybe Viktor.

Hell yeah Morgana is awesome too. Possibly my favorite design.

Honestly the further we go the more I expect this rating to be pretty close to my own, with most divergence being due to me actually having played the game and taking their gameplay into account a bit more. Like as an example Aatrox I hate almost entirely because his gameplay is degenerate. His design is... fine. Probably not second tier worthy but not too far off that

No worries! Nami's appeal for me is much less about her character design (I'm not the type of person to play a mermaid), but moreso her gameplay. She has 2 stuns, a heal, and a buff. Her abilities are just super fun to play as a support character.

Nautilus


Using an anchor as a weapon is badass. It's hard to tell how giant this "titan" is really supposed to be since the characters mostly look the same size in game. Uh, definitely the coolest robot so far, and I say that as someone who likes robots quite a bit but hasn't liked any of the ones featured on the list before now.

Neeko


Hey, look, I said I'd remember to rank Neeko and I did! Anyway I think her design is pretty cool and her concept are pretty cool. I almost wish I DIDN'T watch her reveal trailer because it does give me more info than I got on many of the others... but on the other hand I can also say I found her voice acting to be especially hammy and bad, which did end up ranking against her.

Probably the most interesting thing about Neeko is that I don't find her attractive or ugly, just kind of whatever. So she's probably one of the few female characters where her attractiveness doesn't influence her ranking at all -- although her "looks" do in the sense that I think she has a cool design. Amphibians are some of my favorite types of animals and so an amphibian based monster-humanoid is awesome.

Nidalee


Not going to lie, I liked Nidalee a lot more before I knew she was a panther or whatever. She's one of the characters I knew a little bit about (well, mostly just her design) before I started this topic and I had her pegged as one of the higher ranking characters. While that's still mostly true, I think finding out she was secretly a furry in disguise 'somewhat' hurt her rankings.

That being said this entire batch of characters all placed extremely well and so honestly saying that her ranking was hurt really just means she's not at the absolute top. And, hey, not everyone can be up there!

A lot of her skins are also pretty whatever, most of them being strictly worse than just her base concept and design.

Nocturne


This guys title is literally THE ETERNAL NIGHTMARE. One of the best I've seen since Aatrox. But can we talk about how goofy and unimposing his ingame model looks? His head is just a round orb, lol. ORB!

That being said he looks like pretty fucking badass. Nocture rounds out the trend of this last batch of characters being incredibly high quality. Man we haven't had a TRULY bad one since the letter 'G' and we're all the way on 'N' now.

Nunu & Willump


Another character that is actually two characters together. Apparently Nunu & Willump is literally some young dude riding around on a yeti. I... have no problems with that. Honestly the monster design on the yeti is actually pretty sick despite being more on the cartoony side of things. I don't know if these characters have really gotten better or if I've just been in a better mood lately but this is another good one.

Olaf


Olaf the Berserker is about as basic of a name as you can possibly give to a character. Like holy shit even if I didn't look at his splash art, I could read that name and know EXACTLY what this character is and probably predict his design with about 80% accuracy at worst. Not as bad as some of the other really cliche character designs, such as Gangplank, I actually find this guy to be a little bit cool in spite of what I said above. Solid mid tier.

Orianna


A steampunk style robot, which is on the lower end of my favored types of robots. Although I do like robots quite a bit so that's still a somewhat positive angle. Unlike some previous characters I've ranked I will say that she benefits a bit from her skins that try to make her look more human. I think some of her other designs, where she looks robotic, just rely too much on an overall clunk physiology and build. Like, the structure of her body, is just clunky and unappealing to me. Covering more of that up is a nice trade off for giving her a more human looking face.

The overall character concept is somewhat cool, but I think there's much better things they could have done with it.
