Just under 20lbs to go before I hit the lightest weight I've ever been.

I haven't even been hitting the gym. Trying to lose what I can first by dieting for a couple of months and than I'm gonna go hard at the squat rack.

AMA I guess?

My back and knees are messed up, trying to lighten the load as much as I can before starting so I don't injure myself. I don't know if that's a BS approach or not, but it's how I'm handling the situation.

What's your diet?

Keto and intermittent fasting + OMAD. Eating lots of green veggies and meats, less than 20g sugar a day. Gave up soda completely. I eat one meal a day and than do not eat again for 24 hours.

Nah, no doctor. Just started doing it myself.

For the first couple of weeks, yeah. I hibernated lol. Basically when I wasn't at work I was sleeping.

But now I get through most days just fine, and that one big meal in the evening is awesome. I also drink copious amounts of caffeinated water lol.

I give myself a 2k calorie limit but 9 times out of 10 I'm way under that. Probably eating more around 1300 calories a day.

Also the hardest thing was basically giving up desserts because I don't trust any artificial sweetener except for Stevia. Because it's not artificial lol.

I work in a Bakery, too haha.

Man the best advice I can give you is SLEEP for the first few weeks if you can. Just all the time. Take a nap whenever you can. Not awake = no sugar cravings. Drink lots of coffee or tea sweetened with Stevia.

That's what got me through the first few weeks.

The first thing I want went I wake up from a nap is sugar. Hopefully I'm running enough.

I have been doing 8-16 too. I am down 60 in 3 months. I stalled for a 2 week period last month but it stared moving again. If that happens to you dont let it demotivate you. Push through it and it will start going down again.

I eat 1300 to 2000 calories a day split into 2 meals. Maybe a piece of fruit in the middle of the day. I cut out all the daily junk food. Soda being the prime offender in that. I do eat one fancy dessert a week on Saturday. Knowing I will get that keeps me on track and away from the garbage the rest of the week. I'm eating more healthy home cooked meals and stay away from fried and fast food. Roasted chicken breast, rice and veggies are my new best friends.

I try to walk at least a mile a day weather permitting. I picked Pokemon Go back up. I use it as a tool to keep me motivate to go out every day. Luckily the community in my town is still thriving. That makes it more fun to play. I also take a weightlifting class at the gym once a week.

If you have problems with your knees and back you should look into swimming. It is low impact and is good for people with problems like yours. A local place could have an indoor pool you can use. Yoga is another option for something low impact.
