Raines OSB. that's my fourth relic for him from lucky draws/realm draws/realms on parade. BSB was the only thing i got from a regular banner, and i'm now only missing his LMR and unique, both worthless anyway.

oh and i forgot to post yesterday, got Papalymo's OSB. i've gotten so many OSBs from realms on parade specifically. Vivi, Orlandu, Lightning, Garland, Gladiolus, Fujin and now these two makes 8 total.

I just got Kain's Arcane on the daily draw. I just need to figure out how to fit it in while also juggling his CSB and USB1. Now that I have Elarra I should be able to generate a bit more SB than before thanks to speed, assuming I can stay alive against Famfrit without last stand.

this... might actually be useful for Famfrit? since i have Kain's chain and not Prompto's. plus he can use protectga or magic breakdown. though i'm not sure i can replace my buff-entrust slot with him. maybe have him replace Celes and use Shelke as the entruster?

Is Haunchefant USB the worst ever? I got it and reading the description I cant think of any possibly worse.

Also got Reks Boostaga/Hastaga/magic damage bounce back... holy shit... How have I not heard of this before, that sounds amazing. Its OK PUSB trading crit for damage reflection.....

Steiner's is still worse, there's no real niche for it. Haurchefant can at least tank overstrike attacks from some bosses.

What does Steiners do? And how can it be worse than cover?

You have to hit Steiner with a magic ice/fire/lightning attack while he's in his EX mode (and it has to be from an ally) to give him infusion.

And this is a character without doublecasts or chases (until a FF9 event a week ago in Japan when he finally got a decent USB2)

That is pretty bad...

Finaaalllly beat Geos! Man this fight really sucks (no pun intended) and is an RNG mess, hate his goddamn savage mode, it boosts his defense way too high and he reactivates it too frequently. Always have to pray that Quetz comes at the right time (and while the chain is still decently high enough so he can break savage mode) And thanks to his stupid auto hit petrify I was forced to bring Tyro for his USB1 but that also opened the problem of running out of hones id I don't get enough doublecasts.



5/6 of the 5* magicite beaten (and since Famfrit is easy anyway I don't need KB right now, my earth mages still suck.) Please, please, please Santa give me a fire chain this Rop!

It teaches you that the best thing to do with Steiner is leave him out of your party, and second best is to attack him with your other characters, so thematically it's great. Sucks as a relic draw tho

According the MVP newsletter, the VI event starts on Thursday. I wanted to do a pull on this banner with the 3 AOSBs, but I don't see how I'm going to be able to since I'm at 34 mythril, with 7 more days of ROP and then the USB lucky draw (I'll probably skip the LMR/OSB luckies).

Also there's speculation that the grab bag part of the banner format is being removed (in JP there was a 1% chance of a random 6* for any character on the banner and 1% chance of a random 5*, but it was super unpopular and they canned it after 6 weeks). We'll see what they do instead, if anything... the banners could be even better than they were in JP, or not.

I may do a pull or two on FFVI. Rydia banner has Red XIII Earth Chain as well so that's getting some pulls-- it's just a question of how many that gets which will give me the number on VI.
