Since BW2 all my first play throughs
Have been blind (or semi blind since the entire internet complained about Ultra Necrozma day 2) Nuzlockes.

And while there is no way I can do anything blind for a Yellow Remake, I still want to as blind as possible Nuzlocke this thing

How am I supposed to do so without random battles?

Honestly, Nuzlocking has just gotten boring nowadays. No new comics that are actually worth a damn since 2014 or so, the games have been getting increasingly boring and grind-enably, and unique rulesets have become so diverse and overly specific that it's honestly boring to even read the reports, since they basically just devolve into "more and more grind and item abuse, forever". I'm dying for something that actually has the spark of 2010-2012 again.

The whole premise of the game is to catch instead of battle, you can't grind without catching Pokemon

Nuzlocking USUM sounds like a nightmare unless you get lucky enough to get a Zorua or Inkay. I don't know how you beat Ultra Necrozma without grinding otherwise.

What about Focus Sash+Endeavor+Quick Attack? Classic cheap strategy that doesn't require sacrifice plays, and is probably easier to get, since it just requires a Rattata or Raticate.

Actually, I should probably look up what other Pokes in Gen 7 have that power.

That's probably the best assuming Alolan Rattata can learn Endeavor. Since there's a guaranteed Rattata spawn in UM.

Which is why you don't use that thing after you start encountering enemies with more diverse movesets. Or are knee-deep in bugs or fairies.

Anyways, just checked it. Yep, NuRatatta still learns Endeavor at level 34, and NuRaticate at 44.
On another interesting note, Dunsparce learns Endeavor at level 38 in SM, and 41 in USUM. Also Hawlucha at 36, Archen at 38, and Archeops at 40.

Well from what I heard Alolan Muk is a good Ultra Necrozma counter (nothing broken, just strong)
So you have a 30% chance for a Zorua encounter and 10% for a Grimer encounter
And people suggest Thunder Wave from Magnezone too, so this is another 10%

But of course you can get Alolan Meowth with the remaining 50% and this thing is useless

Magnezone? I would expect people to recommend keeping it as a Magneton for the speed boost and Eviolite.
