You guys are asking questions and complaining when getting the answer you don't want. Almost every league purposely not rostering is banned in. I mean, why ask questions then argue against them.

You can roster lesser players but purposely not rostering is almost always banned. It is against the integrity of the game. It would be like the rams running out 8 players instead of 11 when they have the home field secured.

Throwing games for better playoff positioning in a serious money-at-stake thing is perfectly fine.

Doing so in a friendly, casual league will have some people justifiably annoyed and is the kind of thing that attracts bad luck if you're superstitious, but also not against any rules.

Lots of people with bad ethics in this topic. Hence the reason I say almost all leagues ban this. Always those shady leagues out there.

I remember this playing out in my league once and it resulting in a huge blow up and resulting in everyone quitting and refunds being given haha.

Had to of been 12 years ago or so at this point.

Those were my RB1 + 2 in the league where I was favored to win the playoffs. 16 man league so waivers are threadbare

Even if I won if my league last week, the people I needed to lose won.

But I had another week where I outscored everyone in the league except the one person I faced this week, even though the Colts players I played did absolutely nothing (except for Ebron still somehow). This was probably my most frustrating year of fantasy. I just had the shittiest luck when I did great while having the shittiest luck when I didn't need to do great.

Well, that game ended less than optimally. I guess it could have been a lot worse for my fantasy team, though. I'm still somehow favored to win in a playoff match, despite playing the wrong tight end and leaving the Washington DST on my roster. (I also subbed in a WR that scored half a point, so yay for good coaching.)

I should've won.

I looked at every position before this week except my DST, and my DST was the one I absolutely needed to replace. Ironically I would have chosen to play Washington's opponent rather than Washington's defense, and that would have netted me 15 points. I lost by 3.
