I am at a loss for what to do here since I have a lot of byes this week.

Currently I decided:

QB - Matt Ryan (only choice)
RB - Todd Gurley, Phillip Lindsay (only choices)
TE - Todd Burton (only choice)
Def - Ravens

And now I have a bunch of choices for WR and Flex. Who are my top three options out of these?

Desean Jackson vs. Carolina - Fitzpatrick being back in will probably help him get a ton of points now.

Juju Smith-Shuster vs. Baltimore - God knows if the Ravens want to crush the Steelers this week or not. They shut them down hard last time. Plus JuJu doesn't seem to get as much play now.

Tyler Lockett vs. Chargers - It's hard to say, but I feel this may be a high scoring game.

Calvin Ridley vs. Washington - I feel like I've been getting burned by him lately after his amazing start to the season.

Corey Davis vs. Dallas - I mean it's Dallas I guess. He hasn't been killing it lately though.

Ty Montgomery to the Ravens

Asking for advice.

I have McCoy, Mixon, and Jalen Richard as my RB's. Mixon is great, but that's it.

My WR corps is Tate, John Brown, Tyler Boyd, Mike Evans, and Funchess. Pretty stacked.

I may be able to trade Evans for Tarik Cohen, one-for-one. Should I do it?

Evans is the highest scoring receiver on my squad, but the others all are solid. The worst option is the Panthers no. 1 target. And Cohen has had 4 great games in a row (although the last one was 18 points where 14 of them were on one play).

What say you, friends?

I'm not sure if Cohen is going to remain as consistent as he has been the last few weeks, but you are weaker at RB. It's a tough choice.

As a Bears fan, I think there's been a consistent effort to get Cohen involved in the game. I also believe that Howard has been slowly losing snaps to Cohen and it's more of a 50/50 split at the moment. That said, I'd definitely try for Hunt/Gordon. Gordon is injured and I heard he might miss this week as well so you might be able to get him cheaper than you think.

Evans has Fitzpatrick back so he might start taking off again. I'd probably try and unload Funchess and/or Tate for Cohen. Evans/Boyd maybe for Gordon? I dunno on that one.

He was valuing Cohen high, and not valuing any of my guys high. He even undervalued Evans. No sale.

There's a team that's not got good QB - I'm thinking of offering him my stashed Matt Ryan (got Mahomes) for his Dalvin Cook, though he might not be willing to trade. I might be able to pick up Cook while he's still 'injured', but would Cook be good when he returns?

Ah nothing you can do about that then. Honestly Gordon/Hunt/Cohen is basically set them and forget about it so I don't blame him.

Haha funny you should say that. I just offered a trade to a guy who has Ryan and Mahomes and I offered him Cook in the deal. Some people think he's gonna be in a timeshare when he gets back but I don't know about that. I just have too many options at RB and he's expendable to me. He has a pretty decent schedule coming up but yeah, there's uncertainty there.

People kicking up a fuss in my league because someone is trading Marvin Jone and Lindsay for Kenyan Drake but the person on the better end of the deal didn't propose the deal so not sure it should be vetoed

I somehow managed to snag Hooper as the bye-week filler for Ertz. Other notable (starting) TEs on the wire are McDonald and Swaim. Hayden Hurst and Ed Dickson are also there I guess. But I'm feeling like I got away with something here considering the alternatives.

So the guy turned around on me and ended up trading Matt Ryan for Mark Ingram. Dang. So there ya go, Han. Trade Matt Ryan for Ingram.

I probably have to drop LeSean McCoy this week for a defense because both Cook and Kupp are playing. He's literally the most droppable player on my team (only moreso than Baldwin because my WR depth is nonexistent) ~_~

Also since you actually said to ask you things, I'll badger you for start/sit advice. Am I crazy thinking Peterson may be a better play than Conner or White in Standard? Obviously the last PIT/BAL game was weird in a lot of ways, but the matchup still scares me.

Starting 4 Texans players is going to bite me big time right? Watson, Hopkins, Miller, and Ryan Griffen. Needed a TE and with Allison finally being ruled out I was able to free up a space. There are no TEs on the wire but I guess I could roll with Clay or the Broncos TE, at least they get targets.

Might end up going with Trubisky instead at QB too. Luckily I have a seemingly easy matchup this week but bleh.

I'm gonna lose to the guy who let someone win with a sub-60 point score last week because he forgot to set his lineup. He has Jones and Garcon who both scored their first TDs in forever. Coleman ran roughshod over a very good run defense in Washington (also the fantasy defense I was running).

It's looking likely that I would have won with an optimal lineup but that would have involved playing Dalvin Cook which was never going to happen. Watson over Trubisky, in hindsight, should have been the correct move all along. But it's looking like the only real way for me to have won this week would have been to pick up a different defense. I knew it was a bad matchup but Washington has actually scored double digit points in most of its games this year and has a very favorable schedule remaining. And I didn't really have any one else to drop. Just frustrating that I picked up the correct TE to stream (Heuerman) and I'm going to lose...and I have bye week hell coming up next week so I could be on a 3 game losing streak with a matchup against Gurley looming in Week 11. =(

I've got Matt Ryan on bench.

Think I can offer Mahomes for one of McCaffrey or Barkley? Seems like a long shot, but Mahomes still has a bye and Ryan doesnt, so...

I was close to not even fixing my byes and injury last week because my opponent Zanarkand Abes is seemingly completely inactive and I was projected to win by 50.

They had 5 players put up 0 and I still only won by 16. I would have lost if I'd chosen just about any of the other 4-5 WR fliers I was considering.

As a general rule, I put zero faith in a player the first week back from a medium-long term injury

Especially Fournette, who is more likely to go out within the first 20m than play the full game.

I benched Ben in my pay league and he has 64 points thru 3 quarters. Sigh.
