End of an Era. But seriously, when was the last time you shopped at Sears? Last Christmas to get your dad a pair of socks?

I drive past their HQ every day on the way to work, hoping to find a nice desk or office chair sitting on the side of the road one day.

Im getting warmer.

I got a cheap fridge at a Sears outlet store. It was banged up a bit, but it was like $300 bucks.

Lampert runs Sears like a hedge fund portfolio, with dozens of autonomous businesses competing for his attention and money. An outspoken advocate of free-market economics and fan of the novelist Ayn Rand, he created the model because he expected the invisible hand of the market to drive better results. If the companys leaders were told to act selfishly, he argued, they would run their divisions in a rational manner, boosting overall performance.

I tried to shop at sears (online) for black friday 2014 but their website kept fucking up and wouldn't let me check out. It seriously upset me because I picked out gifts for family members for christmas lol.

I literally tried to give them my money... but they wouldn't take it. Get fucked, sears.

I love Sears and K-Mart both, but the ironic thing is I had to stop shopping at both places as the nearest one slowly moved further and further away.

Yeah I remember hearinng this was the guy's strategy. Apparently it was even to the pount of understaffing all the locations on purpose to make the strong survive through the ordeal. Total nutcase. I've never studied business in my life and I know better.
