almost expect aversa to be on a second banner because it's unlike them to give away an uncommon unit type (who is also a waifu) for free

A red tome flier was one of the big things I've been missing, plus I like Aversa to boot, so this is a pretty nice update for me.

@Lopen I imagine the answer is no on principle regardless, but would you consider trading Serra and/or Matthew's A slot for the new colourless infantry duel skill? Two +10 170 BST units would score very nicely, and the current scoring system wants you to secure kills on bonus units anyway, I guess.

I'm not sure some of those beast units are all that popular really. People just have a habit of going way overboard when demanding what they want (in this instance, the introduction of beast units).

I love how I'm so uninterested in arena I literally forgot to do my runs until an hour before season ends.

...But I'm at t18 now so I basically auto enter.

Also saw a terrifying sight of Reinhardt, Swordhardt, Brave Lyn, and Veronica. 3 of which died to L!Tiki Well I intentionally picked into a horse but geez I really don't want to deal with bullshit like that.

I didn't even do Arena Assault last week. Even in my reduced state of gameplay I try to at least autobattle a run through to get a rank like 70-90k in.

I usually get in an arena assault run on Sunday. Rank 5-10k typically. It's not so bad these days.

Free pulled a Maria and got out. Halloween banner interests me more but I'll wait and see on the legendary banner for now

i got a round of all red and colorless so i spent the 15 and got Owain (another -atk). people are going nuts over his special but i'm kinda skeptical. i don't end up adjacent to an ally while i'm attacking all that often so it's more of an enemy-phase skill to me, but then enemy-phase units will have enough def or res where iceberg/bonfire is almost as good or sometimes better.

So with that setup true damage of 30/45. Sounds destructive.

Well... defensive specials counter them, but those aren't commonly used.

I agree that it is basically an enemy phase skill. Similar to how awkward bond skills are on player phase. I'm surprised that it is inheritable; I thought it would be an Owain exclusive.

This GHB map was interesting. I ended up making it work with a 4x Goad Fliers squad

Aversa's GHB was rather difficult for me. I'm very much a "blue buff and stick together" type of person so having a map that counters my playstyle was not something I was expecting.

...Then I remember I had a Legendary Tiki and she sort of kind of trivialized the map. Having Aversa kill herself in round 1 sure as hell makes the rest of the map easier to deal with.

(Also Darting Stance OP. Bold Fighter when engaging, 44 speed when engaged on, that's crazy.)

Yeah, the map was designed to counter emblem buff teams. I had to reorganize some skills to get the right composition since I usually have my units stick together.

Aversa stuck around until the end for me

i used my usual team of fliers with blue buffs and it still worked. had Myrrh tank the two guys on the left turn 1 with no buffs, and then had to dance Summer Corrin before letting her kill Aversa turn 2. it leaves Corrin exposed, but the brave sword attacks first and blocks the axe from being able to attack her. from there it's just picking everything off.

I gave Legendary Ike the Distant Defense seal and buffed him with Def and Res Tactics. I sent him deep on the left side so he was in range of Aversa which lured her in and killed her on turn 1. After that, I used dance and Bladetomes to run over the map.

and i agree this was a fun map. i ended up having all four of my characters at single digit or barely double digit HP despite no fury and only having desperation on one of the four. not sure i've ever ended up winning in a situation like that before.

I didn't even think about trying to rush Aversa like that. That would have been easier, but it was still fun positioning around her ploys.

That was a fun map. I did it with Serra Matthew Soren and FGrima. I kinda rushed Aversa too. Except instead of rushing for the counterhit kill it was just to have Serra hit her back and get her hp down to a more reasonable 41 to actually be able to avoid her ploy. She died kinda soon after that but was no longer must kill.

Basically flooded the left with units from that point and let the right get to me at a plodding pace since they have limited flyers over there and an armor to clog you. I may actually train up Aversa I liked her in awakening and her Prf seems super good.

Ha, got an Ophelia as an off banner on the Owain banner. Best off banner ever. +Res/-Spd which ain't great but whatever.

hmm, i wonder if i could make tier 21 if i +10 a third character and give Camus as many merges as i can.

unfortunately i still don't have 11 Titanias or Faes. i could do Nino or Camilla i guess, or Olivia. maybe Serra, though i think i'm one short for her. i did manage to get Loki for about 40 orbs so i could even feed her to Serra.

So I basically went through that entire Grand Conquest playing 2, maybe 3 matches tops. Carried so hard >_>

I was weak.

Dropped 150+ orbs on the Tana banner again. Blues naturally became scarce.

Ended up with a Female Morgan(+Atk/-Res) and a Jaffar(-Spd)

The game thinks the latter hurts, but it really just means I have a +5 Jaffar now.

Down to 56 orbs though so knowing my luck the legendary banner is going to have something I really want on it.

So initially this morning I feel like I'm being soft-trolled by IS with these two voting gauntlet banners - "So, you were disappointed with Ophelia sharing a focus colour on her banner were you? Well here she is less than a month later with three other blue units! Ahahahahaha!"

i got a free 5* Odin. good for summer Camilla, though i'm gonna be low on Shannas if i have to replace the built-in desperation. Aversa probably wants desperation, too, and Tana if i did happen to get her from whichever legendary banner she ends up on. i have 4 left right now.

I didn't get any blue orbs on either banner also.

I just gave renewal to Aversa for the time being. I'm still out of Shannas, and I plan to make use of her unique weapon in any case. I have Halloween Nowi for the bladetome thing.

I doubt this becomes the best build in the long-run, but right now I've set her up with her prf tome, HP/Spd, Renewal, Savage Blow and HP/Res seal with Moonbow and Reposition. With one merge and Summoner Support that puts her at 56 HP before potential blessing and arena buffs. You can likely swap something out and still have enough HP to panic ploy the most common armour and dragons.
