She is this season's purpleish? Cause I don't remember her saying anything last week. Also, she is stuck with probably four of the seasons biggest stars this season on her tribe so it is gonna be tough fight for screen time.

I think that should be Lyrsa last episode (episode 3)

I liked how Davie and Elizabeth were totally openly throwing eachother under the bus while also keeping the idea that they wanted to get Natalia out, which left the door open for Alec to make that move.

If they had worked together and pushed for Natalia this might actually not have happened. Or if they just both kept throwing eachother under the bus without mentioning Alec, even just one of them, then maybe Alec wouldn't have been comfortable going after Natalia.

Kind of a perfect storm where things worked out for them despite this probably breaking them apart.

I saw Eaed mention Alec is in a decent 4 person alliance last topic though and I'm not sure what he's talking about. Alec, Davie, Elizabeth, and Kara going forward is possibly the most fractured and distrustful group of 4 people I think I've ever seen.

Kara was just blindsided and had no idea her ally was getting voted out, Alec proved himself to be very unreliable, Davie and Elizabeth just spent a segment campaigning to get eachother out.

I guess Davie/Alec and Kara/Elizabeth might happen as pairs just because they bonded socially but I really don't see how this group trusts eachother as a group of 4. They could not be more divided. And now Carl is going to be joining the tribe and making things strange. Will he join Davie/Alec? Will he bridge the gap between Davie/Elizabeth?

I meant that with Carl joining them he could hope to be Alec/Davie/Elizabeth/Carl but it wasnt until I listened to know it alls this morning that I remembered that those 3 were actually not together in the David tribe to begin with.

Green tribe is entertainment OP. God I love the interactions on this tribe.

Green tribe is best by a small margin. Purple tribe in terms of overall characters, but Greens trio of John/Christian/Gabby overcomes Dan/Alison being lame.

Yeah the purple tribe is the best in terms of ratio of good to lame characters, but green has the better good characters overall.

One thing that always blows my mind on Survivor is the clothing some people choose to bring. This guy Nick is wearing a straight up sport coat. He's gonna wear that on a beach for a month and a half?

Just finished episode 2 and I gotta say I'm really liking Christian. Usually his archetype can be pretty grating but he is a really interesting and thoughtful guy and pretty charming in a weird way.

Yeah, usually people of this archetype (e.g. Ryan from HHH, Cochran from South Pacific) use a lot of self-depreciating humor which is absolutely grating. Christian, on the other hand, owns up to his personality and this archetype which is very refreshing to see.

Yeah, Christian is great. He comes across as very sincere, which is a nice change from what we usually see from that character archetype.
