Police have released the shocking audio of a white woman who called 911 in a frantic call in Atlanta, Georgia after she reported a black man babysitting 2 white kids and said she had a "funny feeling" about him!!

The woman who sounded "concerned" said "Hi there, i'm in the Walmart parking lot at Barrett Parkway and i just got my nails done..and i see this black gentleman with these 2 little white kids and i just had a funny feeling"

She then drives around and closely watches him while talking to the operator. Corey Lewis was the man identified who was racially profiled and had been caring for 10 y/o Addison and 6 y/o Nicholas while their parents, David Parker and Dana Mango went out for dinner.

She said "I rode around around and i just came back and saw the girl get in and the little boy..I told him, Are these kids OK? Do you know these kids? And he goes, why wouldnd't i? I said let me see the little girl and he goes No. It could be nothing but i would be up all night if i was right"

The operator asked if she wanted to meet with a police officer and she said Yes so they can do a welfare check for the kids

She continues to FOLLOW him even though an operator told her NOT to and she said "I think he knows i'm watching him. I'm right behind him. and if i'm wrong,t hat's great. I'm thrilled. And maybe he knows their mom, i don't know but i don't know that he knows them"

The parents who hired him have spoken out who said their kids were "scared" when cops came cause they thought Corey would be arrested. They went to GMA to sa they had dinner when this all happened and got a call from him as a police officer answered the phone to confirm it.

The officer on scene kept asking the kids repeatedly if they were OK and if there was ANYTHING he wanted to tell them but they said No.

The kids knew Corey for a long time and love him according to their parents and were confused when they were questioned for it.

Cory runs an after school mentoring centre and filmed it live on Facebook and the moment the woman followed him. He said on camera "This lad is following me because i got 2 kids in the backseat that do not look like me."

The cop was EMBARRASSED but said he was just concerned for the kids safety after the call was made. He was even confronted by the parents who said "Are you saying that because there's an African American male driving my 2 white kids that he was stopped and pu lled over and questioned? He said, i'm sorry ma'am, that's exactly what i'm saying"

The parents were fumed when Lewis was targeted for "babysitting while black" as Lewis runs a program to provide enrichment to socially challenged youth and kids with emotional and behavioural problems.

The woman who does not want to be identified said she is NOT racist and was just concerned for the kids who felt she did the right thing after noticing something "off" with the whole situation

Do you think this woman did the "right" thing by calling the police?

While there's not enough information to make a determination in regards to that, you *can* hear the concern in her voice. And keep in mind this happened in Atlanta where there's a large black population so seeing black adults with white children wouldn't be unusual, which kinda undermines your whole racism argument. You might live in an area where you've never seen a black person so you get freaked out, but this woman lives in an area where there are more blacks than whites.

But hey, I'm sure you personally know the woman so you can make value judgments based on things other than the facts presented in the story.

How you don't see how that entire argument works against you is beyond me. It all drives home the point that there was NO other reason she suspected him of wrongdoing.

Goads?

Hmm

verb: goad; 3rd person present: goads; past tense: goaded; past participle: goaded; gerund or present participle: goading

1.
provoke or annoy (someone) so as to stimulate some action or reaction.

I made a prediction and was right. Not quite the same thing if I do say.

It sounds like the argument is beyond you if you think it somehow works against me. If she lives in a place where she sees black adults with young kids on a regular basis -- which you would in Atlanta, given the racial demographics -- the likelihood of her calling on those grounds alone basically drop to zero because otherwise she'd be calling multiple times a day.

Provocation not prediction. When you make a post egging somebody on to do something and they then do it *because* you egged them on, it doesn't even qualify as a self-fulfilling prophecy let alone a prediction. But keep trolling.

There's no evidence of any other reason she thought anything was wrong, on two different recordings. One of which was talking directly to police; if ever there was a time to say exactly what was wrong with the scene, that was it. The fact she didn't strongly suggests she didn't have a good one; aka either based on his gender or race.

She said that she had a funny feeling. iirc, she didn't even mention that the guy looked suspicious and she certainly didn't go with anything that strongly signaled racism. The *only* basis for the claim is the races involved, which is weak. But in this day and age, literally ANY negative interaction with two races instantly ends in accusations of racism because, you know, that's the ONLY possible reason anything in this world happens... or so people have been duped into believing.

And, like I said in the other topic, there are *countless* kidnappings where witnesses saw the kidnapper with the child and suspected something, but didn't call it in. It's certainly annoying to be questioned when you didn't do anything, but every single tip isn't going to end in an arrest. And again, like I also mentioned in the other topic, this happens to white parents with their white kids at times, which you'd know because Ducky also made a topic about the widower who took his daughter to Disney and was accused by a hotel clerk of being a sex trafficker.

Not to mention that, realistically speaking, anybody who leaves their home is probably going to be questioned by the cops or security at some point in their lives. In the past year alone, I've had at least 10 interactions with police, mostly just from playing Pokemon Go.

Anybody else not surprised that SWK would rather see a thousand kidnappers succeed than one innocent man be questioned?

Again, she said she had a funny feeling. She didn't say that the guy looked sketchy or predatory. She didn't say that it didn't look like the kids' parent. And, as already noted, she's in a HEAVILY mixed-racial area where this sort of stuff is common. If it was racial, she'd be calling dozens of times a day. It's not like she lives in a town where a black man visiting makes the newspaper, it's fucking *Atlanta* which has an overwhelmingly large black population.

I think she literally states that there was a black gentleman with 2 little whites kids and she has a funny feeling. She says the things about the funny feeling after saying their races. It sounds like she has a funny feeling because the races don't match up. I would say that it's most likely the reason. Sure, it could be something else. But based on the info we have, it seems like race is most likely the issue here...
