I did meet Brandon and Katie. I spaced out and forgot to try and schmooze Katie for a free autograph; they often do that for volunteers, like Erik last night (but we're not supposed to outright ask for one).

I really wanted Brandon's autograph, so I just paid for it because I didn't want to risk not getting one. I spaced out again and didn't even get it personalized with my name or anything..

couple reasons.

1. the magic budget could cut down on the steel budget. (atom and firestorm would have been used much more if it weren't for budget)
2. his dad is trying to weaponize the magic creatures. he could be off-ship for that storyline

Damn good episode of Arrow last night; decent Legends.

But Legends did give us this glorious scene:

I had some issues with arrow. Normally don't watch it as he's nothing like I thought he should be based on the few times I've seen him in comics and cartoons, but I watched it waiting for legends. First I'm not so sure his little contraption would have been enough to blow the lock on his cell and two after beating dude up he shuts the door like he's locking him up. Did he forget he blew the lock? Or was it just to be dramatic?

maybe it was enough, the prison seems to be made with shoddy materials. that visitor window started breaking after a few hits.

i would love for oliver to become light-hearted like how green arrow is supposed to be. doubt it will ever happen. (the boxing glove arrow was a great nod to that though a few seasons ago)

Prison actually looked pretty decent compared to the one I visited in a field trip. I call BS on the window thing too but I just assumed they where trying to make him out like Batman. As strong a as a normal human can possibly be.

My mom worked in a prison and so does my brother I ran a lot of what happened by them and they laughed. Most of it I'll accept as it being just tv. But I do appreciate it when they actually do some research and try and get it right. Like I accept the blowing of the lock I call BS but it is is what it is. Locking dude in said cell with blown lock though I just find Incredibly stupid. You could still even see it was damaged in that scene.

That security window should not have cracked, at a supermax facility no less.

Besides that and some other logical plotholes, it was a very good episode. It's actually tied for the highest rated episode ever.

I just never liked the show even my favorite villain Deathstroke wasn't enough to interest me. The whole show to me feels like they originally wanted Batman but reskinned it as green arrow. But it's probably DC just being DC on thinking shit has to be dark and gritty.

Never read his solo comics but every time I've seen him he's always cracking jokes and generally a cheery guy.

Once the series is over with and I can binge watch it I may give it another chancem

Comic book shows/movies love their Easter eggs. Like the other flash in this crossover is from earth 90. His show was from the 90s. And I'm sure somewhere in one of these shows the number 52 has popped up in reference to new 52. Wanna say a news channel number.

Yeah shame that's not going to be the case tomorrow, I liked it.

Hyped for batwoman though just a shame imo she's not from Supergirl's world. If they did they could have occasional team ups aside from the annual crossover event.

I definitely enjoyed the first two episodes, but with the last one and overall I was a little bit underwhelmed. It sets up for something huge next year, but this one didn't feel as epic as the Invasion or Earth-X crossovers. And Batwoman felt like a cameo at best; I thought her role would be bigger.

Don't think they did. They nearly did but he got his dagger back and killer frost put the hurt on him but he got away I believe

Plus what's his face isn't a big enough villain to be a big bad I don't think. I actually have a comic he appears in where Batman is fighting him killer frost Mr freeze and captain cold all at once. Considering that I don't think he's big enough of a deal but idk. I don't know the character much.
