I was wondering why vegans avoided certain animal by products. Like milk and eggs. I've heard that lots of cows actually like being milk. And need to be milked, too. Like it hurts them sometimes to not be milked. So, I was wondering why vegans avoided that. And also, don't chickens lay eggs like all the time? Fertilized or not. So, I was wondering why vegans avoided those when milking helps the cow and chicken would lay those eggs regardless. AFAIK. I don't farm or anything, but that what it seems like. Like I know a few farmers and people who have chickens and stuff. I think all the info is correct. And I'm not trying to change anyone's mind about being vegan or trying to tell vegans to not avoid this stuff. I was just wondering about it. Like, I understand why they don't eat meat, but never really understood this aspect of it...

My guess is supporting the milk industry for example will still mean the need to keep said cows on those milk farms and in whatever living conditions they're in.
