The gameplay was torture for me. The idea behind the fight was that 1) you couldn't attack him with most weapons unless you did the size quests and it was designed to be able to beat him without doing the sidequests, and 2) Ozma was supposed to do enough damage and other debilitating status effects that you'd have to stop and heal repeatedly instead of attacking. However, since he casts Doomsday a lot, if you walk in with shadow absorb, all you need is esuna and he'll basically kill himself. A snake crawls into the tent (lmao imagine a tent big enough for him) and bites him and he becomes afflicted with a buttload of status effects He isn't special, 2/3 of the game bosses get fucked by a tent. There are only like 5 bosses in the game that are immune to all crippling status effects. Most others are dealt with easily using a combo of elemental absorb/status immunity.
