I figure Google can help me make my life better if I give it more information, instead of working with incomplete information and giving me weird shit not tailored to my needs That all being said I do kinda miss seeing new things, and I think that's the danger of these algorithm based things that only show what you're interested in, instead of letting you explore new things and perspectives better --- ... I can browse for whatever I wish without my search history being recorded because my browser is set up to open only on private mode, one of the good things about Firefox.

Resist. They may gather scraps from my online habits (and I don't care who knows that I play/collect games) but without a phone, social media profile, and lots of fake personal info in my accounts I doubt they'll be piecing anything together.

If you want to get anything from the government you have to go through countless layers of permission slips because none of the various groups are allowed to share information with each other. For example, if I needed a CT scan or something. The doctor would need privacy consent to inform the government for pricing, and then both would need privacy consent with the actual CT place... that kinda information should just be cloud'd and done.
