i feel like the majority of the people who trade in games to gamestop are either kids who have no other means of income/methods of selling old games and adults who want to clear out a bunch of old video games in their closet and would rather get $20 for them than throw them in the dumpster

People would search the value of their games on ebay and expect the store to pay the same value. Except that you can't make a profit if you are gonna pay $55 for a used game.
