Sounds like the post Summerslam plan at this point (obviously subject to change) has Roman and Braun at house shows. I guess there's speculation that one of them will turn heel, but I don't know if that's really necessary. Vince has already shown that he will never turn Roman heel, and Braun is just so over. I think Braun works much better as a heel, but they're going to have a hard time getting people to boo him right now, especially over Roman.

Honestly, and this isn't to be one of those "I'm not watching RAW! Look at me, I'm HCA!" posts, but I don't think you'll miss it too much. Youtube gets virtually every interesting segment within moments of the episode airing, and there are a ton of great shows in wrestling right now. I firmly stick with the conviction that 3 hours is a slog.

New Japan's biggest G1 shows barely cracked 3 hours. That's... pretty crazy.

I also think that Youtube could eventually prove to be the demise of RAW.

It feels like, for the first time in a while, the title scene on SD is wide open. Joe could win or not. AJ could retain for a while or not. We could be on the way to Heel Orton with a title in the fall or winter. We could be on the way to Daniel Bryan if he signs.

I think whether or not Roman walks out of Summerslam with the belt, or loses it to end the show due to cash in will really depend on how the match is received. If the live crowd is shitting on the match the entire time, Vince might have no choice but to pull the plug on a long term Roman title run and send the fans home happy (though he hasn't really cared about that with big events before).

I'm interested in the story they're going to tell in the Owens/Strowman match. I fully expect Owens to be trying to bait Braun into a DQ or countout, and maybe pulling an Eddie and acting like he was hit with a chair or the briefcase. Also guessing Jinder will come into play somewhere.

If Roman does get cashed in on a heel turn would make sense.The first thing a freshly turned heel tends to do is insult the audience for not caring about them or whatever, and Roman has a great case there since he gets booed no matter what. I don't think he ends up heel until Vince is out of power though.

I have no reason to believe Roman will turn heel even if he is facing a baby face Strowman. Citation: his entire fucking career.

In all honesty, I'm really not interested in Roman vs. Braun. We've been there and done that recently. I'd like to see Roman actually elevate somebody at this point. He doesn't even have to lose. But what AJ gives guys in defeat is something Roman could do even better. Roman made Nakamura look like a million bucks at the Rumble and that was just an over-the-top challenge without any real kayfabe strength implications.

This would make sense, but if Braun cashes in on Roman, I'm guessing Braun is the heel in Vince's eyes. So we'll have another Braun/Roman feud where the booking is set up so Braun is the heel, and the announcers are talking like Braun is the heel, but he's getting cheered and Roman is getting booed.
