Finished top4 HCT Japan. With the 10 additional points im now at 150 points. Which means im the first ever Hearthstone master

Basically Hunterace has amassed more tour points by being absurdly consistent at tournaments than any pro player previous. Also Hunterace is just a beast at hearthstone and he's taken the pro scene by storm in the last year.

So he was making a joke about being a "Hearthstone Master" (aka pokemon master) from hitting 150.

That's why I quoted the reply someone left in that thread:

Use strength on the truck to find your 151st point.

Because it took the pokemon reference a step further by tying in the rumor that you could catch mew if you did certain things.

I jammed miracle rogue last night and its been doing well. The tech options of void ripper and mossy horror really helped against Druid decks and I have not encountered a lot of Aggro recently. Sitting at around 425 now after a fast game.

Ever experience rng so bonkers you want to concede as an apology to the opponent for getting so stupid lucky?

I'm in a shaman arena run with a nesting roc and a dragon slayer. Unstable evo my roc to abominable bowman. Dragonslayer becomes a vexing crow(uh oh). Bowman goes to tirion after two evos and crow spits out a cruel taskmaster and radiant elemental(double uh oh). Somewhere in the evos there i smack face with both grommash and an argent commander. All said and done rope burns out with tirion, hadronox, radiant ele, and giant mastodon on board. Unfortunately my last mana got me the radiant when i evolved my crow so i couldn't spit out more 2 drops.

Played a few more games. Went like 50/50 though and didnt gain any ranks. People are playing weird shit due to the expansion. Like played bequiet and he was a non even warlock and his turn 1 was coin tap. His turn two was tap and his turn 3 was like librarian into bottom right. I have no clue what he was playing. I can only assume it was like howlfiend.

Yeah I ran into one of those. Saw it coming but still rekt me. It was too late once I realized it, and turn 10 or 11 he was able to pull it off. He did do a good job of setting up the Defile for maximum damage. Discarded the owl I had which would have lost him the game had it not discarded. My fault for not pushing face damage harder, sooner.

Won a few games with control warlock to get to about 325. Including a game versus shudderwock who hemeted into a gnome where I killed grumble. The hemet killed the Zola so all he had were two wocks on board which I nethered.

Like the only way he loses is if I burn either shudderwock, grumble, or he whiffs. I dont think hemet is a good play unless he suspects Im howlfiend.

Idk maybe. If I like fall below 500 il probably give up. Gains are really small right now and it would probably take all day

Tbh Im not 100% confident Im actually good enough to finish in the top 100. There is a pretty significant jump once you get into like 200. Like if Im playing someone who is like 700 and another person who is like 150 in the same matchup I can probably tell which guy knows the matchup better.

I won another game and Im inside 300 now.

Like but its dumb because the games Im winning Ive been heavily favored and the games Im losing Im like not favored. I played control lock and control priest today and have won all my favorable and lost all my unfavorables except for that shudderwock game.

Lmfao one Match an egg hunter almost had me. Like cubed highland, other highmane, egg, etc. but he did this into my turn 7 and theres a certain legendary minion that ruins his board.

Just had an insane game against a maly Druid as control warlock. I oozed twig and thought I was safe but He got death coil from lich king and hit me with maly, innervate, coil, double moon. Thats 22. I was like oh. Then like hes in fatigue and I know he has a swipe and malf left. He also played elise so he has a pack.

For the next three turns it was me like just barely staying at one hp hoping he doesnt have a silence.

I won but my god.

It's 2190.

We're on the brink of a new expansion. Card reveals left and right. Let's see today's reveal:

"1 Mana Spell, Draw all Legendaries from your deck. Druid."

No. Not again.

2018 was the year of the Revolution against Druid. Blizzard decided to print the most broken cards for Druid, since some employee got a Crotch Pinnochio whenever Druid was in the meta.

Players were foaming at the mouths over "a cheaper sprint that tutors" with reactions such as "Well, f***." or "Druidstone all over again."

It can't be that bad. Not after that.

Oh, but it was.

Yesterday, a Druid card was revealed once more.

"3 mana 4/4, Battlecry: All Dragons in your deck cost 0 for the rest of the game."

Malygos reigns supreme again. It was hall of famed, but Blizzard brought it back as a class card for Druid. Except with Spell Damage +10.

Fibonacci Paladin and Murloc Rogue have nothing against this. Look at Rogue's new legendary:

"4 Mana 1/1, Battlecry: Copy all deathrattles in your deck. Deathrattle: Activate them for the opponent."

Not even Warlock could save us.

"3 Mana Spell, Discard your deck. Summon all demons discarded."

See, this seems like a game-breaking card, but Blizzard actually printed Naturalize 2: Electric Druidgaloo, which is:

"1 Mana, Destroy all enemy minions. Your opponent draws double the amount of cards equal to the number of minions destroyed."

The nerfs were the only thing that could save us. But did it? No. Not at all.

"We've decided to nerf Swipe to only deal 3 damage to a single target and 1 to all others. It balances out the class as a whole. We're also deciding to nerf Cog-Saron, HOPE5 End so that when it dies, all spells are cast for your opponent. We will not be offering a dust refund for either card."

Hunter still hasn't gotten card draw. A new deck, Dragon Hunter, has emerged. It's not strong enough against the meta.

Tier 1: Ramp Druid. Malygos Druid. Weapon Druid. (Yes, they printed a second Twig, and made the other one evergreen.)

Tier 2: Token Druid. Murloc Druid. Discard Druid. Quest Druid.

Tier 3: Spell Druid, Miracle Rogue, Minion Druid, Odd Druid, Even Druid.

Tier 4: Prime Druid, Steal-Yo-Druid, Discolock, and Mana Fling Druid.

Tier 5: MTG Druid, FBI Druid, DDoS Druid, CS:GO Druid, Ben Druid.

The game's name is now Druidstone: Druids of Druid.

The game director cosplays as a Druid in trailers.

Nothing's okay.

But we may have one savior: YES Paladin.

See, a new card came out on the first day of the announcement.

"4 Mana Spell, If you've destroyed 15 or more cards in your deck, win the game."

Join our cause. YES Paladin shall prevail.

Oh nevermind, Druid got more armor and draw.

I'm mostly playing Rogue and Mage right now, and both of those classes got some nifty stuff. I'll probably break down and craft Prince 2 to pair with the Warlock legendary spell in a zoo deck (though the budget version looks passable).

And definitely want to take another spin with Pally. When I was playing Even Pally I had it more midrange-ish, though it could Zerg too. But I liked playing it because the deck had answers and plays for every stage of a game.

I've never played much Warrior because I never seem to unpack the class legendaries (ain't called Wallet Warrior for nothing). But if I can unpack some I'd like to at least have that available to play.

Like to find some type of Priest deck to play too: I got Shadow Reaper Andy just sitting there doing nothing.

Felt like trying to get back into Hearthstone before Boomsday hits. Luckily, caught the very last day of the fire festival for those 100 gold quests.

Going Tess Rogue until I lose. Currently sitting at 16-0. Good thing skill isn't a factor, or I might have lost one of those games!

Started at rank 8 5 stars.

Could never get to rank 7 after nearly three hours of playing. I tried zoo warlock, even warlock, odd rogue, but could never get into a good rhythm.

I don't think I've ever had a more miserable ladder experience.

I know its common but its always so dreary to play ladder right now. I wanted to clear quests but I got dunked on by odd rogue and then Shudderwock so I slapped together 30 combo cards to do a different quest

Okay Im climbing back up at the last moment

Just had a game as odd rogue vs a control priest and like i blink on 3 and get benedictus and Im like ugh so like come turn 8 I have like some junk in my hand and my best play is benedictus and argent squire.

Next turn happens and I draw into mind blast for exact lethal with exact mana.
