Board 8 > Going Keto. Any recommendations from those who have done it?

Switching from nutrisystem which is quite the opposite diet, so I know there's gonna be some growing pains.

And commonly recommended foods you found didn't work out?

Should I take the pills they ask you to but for missing nutrients or is that not really necessary?

A recommended cookbook?

Any info would help, I don't really trust any online information when or comes to stuff like this.

If you like seafood or eggs at all it isn't all that difficult. Sub out whatever high carb thing you think you want with "Fish" or "eggs" and you're probably good. Hardest thing for me was (more or less) swearing off soda, but that just means I hit the coffee even harder

I've been off soda for a while now, unless Fresca counts, so hopefully shouldn't be too hard here. Honestly, I'm most worried about milk. I drink like 3 glasses a day <_<

Ah, I guess an important question for me is if there's any issues with repetition? I have busy mornings on the weekdays so I may find myself eating the same simple things over and over again other than for dinner.

I generally just do sausage for breakfast or whatever kind of omelette I feel like making. Cheese isn't really out of bounds, so go nuts

Milk is apparently one of those things that's fine if you keep to one cup or so a day. Or drink coconut milk, that doesn't have much of any carbs

Love it!

I get bad nightmares when I first start cutting carbs and have to pee a lot. After the first week tho that seems to drop off. We make a lot of recipes from ruled.me and other low carb sites. Cheese!
