Dettlaff died by Regis' hand and the Duchess' sister managed to kill her.

Loved this DLC

The last scene with Regis and Geralt around the fire chatting. Then Geralt smiles and looks kinda at the camera.

Then I got the epilogue with Yen showing up at the Vineyard. Perfect place to leave off imo

too bad you didn't finish most journal stuff beforehand... everything feels very empty when you just have sidequests but none of the main stuff(especially characters) to drive the game forward after that.

then again you might just move on and play something else =P

Pretty great tbh. I forget I have lymphoma most of the time. Treatment is getting easier and my bounceback is getting quicker each time.

My biggest health concern/annoyance is this hemorrhoid I have right now honestly.

Yeah I wouldn't wanna go out and go sidequest-ing after this. Geralt is retired and deserves peace imo. It'd feel odd to go out adventuring.

Yep I liked how they talked about that

Geralt says something like "Well here we are at our happy ending finally"

Only downside is I didn't get to see Ciri again

but yea, the ending felt fitting and perfect, IMO.

the only real "fault" that I have with the game is how big it feels, and that kinda discourages re-plays.

...but I'm trying to play through it again.

Honestly I didn't do a ton of side quests (just the ones tied to the main quest like the assassination and picking the Skellig monarch) so I'll have plenty to look out for next time.

Even with just focusing on the base game and the DLCs it took me over 2 weeks and several dozen hours to finish. I love it

You missed out on a lot of good stuff. Unlike most other RPG games, TW3 side-quests are really creatitive and not repetitive at all. Except for contract that get repetitive at some point.

On my second playthrough I completed everything.
Including getting all the gwent cards (you should check out the standalone game if you're interested in gwent) and clearing every question mark, even in Skellige.
Crafter all the witcher sets, maxed out everything else you can spend money on etc.

This is true. Witcher 3's side quests aren't typical "get this thing and bring it back" rpg fare. Most of them have interesting stories that are very much worth doing.

Ilayed Witcher 3 for like 90 hours, I am never fuckign buyignt hsoe DLCs because i barely enjoyed the game to finish it after like 2 years of owning it.
