Ive noticed the non-Battler narration getting weirder. Like, more opininated even though its just supposed to be third person narration with no character attached to it. I even think done ls were thrown though that mightve been battler. Dont know if that is supposed to be something or not

So if I had to make some kind of prediction it would be that some of these bodies aren't the person they are supposed to be, but just dressed in their clothes. It's why the faces were smashed after death, and why some are completely smash while others are half smashed.

Well, if I exclude any Real Magic bullshit or Beatrice doing it it would seem like Eva has the most to gain from the killings. Her three other siblings are dead so as far as inheritance or succession goes she's in a better position. I don't know if she could have done all the killings and moved all the bodies around so I think Hideyoshi would have to be on it too. Eva also could have had a Beatrice costume and given Maria the letter I suppose (but I think that was the real Beatrice). I think Shannon and Gohda were just at the wrong place at the wrong time and happening to get caught up in it. I DO think the head smashing is odd still, and I believe could have something to do with masking identities but I'm not sure what Eva and Hideyoshi would gain from that.

But probably Beatrice cast a magic spell that killed them or something stupid like that. It is a bit of a shame that I know Beatrice is a real character because otherwise right now there's still practical/realistic explanations for what is going on.

That's a weird sentence.

But I believe only Shannon and Krauss had parts of their head remaining. Because of that, it IS possible that Rudolf/Kyrie/etc could have done it and switched clothes and bodies around. The fact that Rudolf said that he was going to die that night could have been throwing suspicion away from him, and it would be easier with Rudolf and Kyrie working together to kill the others than some other part coming in and killing all 6.

Now of course, some voodoo magic did it but it's fun to think of non-magical ways this could have been done.

Are the quips in the Character/Family Tree thing written from Maria's perspective? They definitely SEEM to be, at any rate.

I knew it was long, I knew it had something to do with a murder mystery, I vaguely knew about the characters of Battler and Beatrice. I think that's it?

Kinzo and Kanon are gone too, allegedly. I have my doubt that that is REALLY Kinzo, but I don't have any way to disprove it. Interestingly, Battler also brought up the issue with the smashed heads around this point, too.

Completed Episode 1. That was really crazy! I would not have expected the story to resolve like that, I thought the whole series was about this mystery here but I guess not. I really have no idea where this VN goes from here. I guess the one thing I do know is that we do eventually see Beatrice, but other than that nothing.
