Well I more mention Fear+ in particular because I think the net effect of the debuff is going to end up being extremely similar to Fear+ in most cases. (But requiring weapon triangle advantage to exploit)

That's fair. I guess triangle adept can enable you to one shot things you couldn't before. I wouldn't pay 20k feathers to switch to fear from it, but I'd probably pick fear over it if I otherwise wanted that effect

I did some draws on the new power banner as an excuse to pull more blue and maybe get another Nephenee for a +1. Got Delthea (+Atk/-Spd) at 3.25%. Her speed isn't actually super high and her attack is so this honestly seems like a not terrible nature though you'd ideally want -Def. I won't complain I guess.

Yea, even with Darting Blow, she only hits 40 Spd, so she will need Swordbreaker to be able to double swords, but I gave her Desperation and paired her with Cherche. Dark Aura is still a very nice support option, and I need to take advantage of it more

Can't you just literally one shot a lot of swords anyway. Feel like bowbreaker would probably be better

Ever since they made Hard 4 gives the same number of points per stamina as Hard 5 it has been difficult to resist the temptation to just auto battle the whole event. Usually I spend the first few days using the event to farm SP and just auto battle the rest after I'm happy with my SP totals.

i'm still doing it the same as usual. two lunatic 7 runs per day and then auto battling hard 5, spending potions to reach top 5k. if i happen to obtain a new unit during the TT (like Camilla this time) i'll also play manually to feed them kills up to level 40. starting in hard 4 once they're level 14 or 15 for bonus units or a bit higher for non-bonus units.

Auto-battling hard 5 is definitely less efficient than lunatic 5 and you notice the difference over time. So glad lunatic 5 is working out well for me this time. I was pissed that last time, I thought I gave myself enough of a buffer to remain in top 5k, but I got kicked just outside of it in the last hours of the event

Not directly. The CPU is a worse player then you are. As a result, they may clear maps too slowly to hit the max Speed ranking. Also the CPU may play badly and get the entire team killed which also lowers your score. If your team is strong enough to just run over the opponents, the CPU is perfectly capable of getting max score for a run.

Boring and heavily centered on the event in question which is like, weird. Support conversations are supposed to create their own context and be about something random related to the character. These are just like... dialogue that should (or shouldn't, I suppose, given the boringness) be present for the event.

I honestly think if they were actual support conversations with Kiran and the character about random ass stuff that could've been kinda cool in spite of being a far cry from what I actually wanted.

Or alternatively just have the character monologue about random stuff. Some of the level 40 monologues are okay. Kiran dialogue interaction (either just write in his dialogue or you picking responses) would be a lot better though.

If the event itself was interesting I'd be more okay with it being centered around that. But "oh no, generic invaders are attacking a village, let's help!" is about the least interesting conceit they could have gone with.

Some of the level 40 monologues are okay.

They've gotten way better over time, too, which gave me some hope for forging bonds, but uh...

I'll reserve judgment for the higher level supports still but yeah.

It's funny how you just seem to get runs of good/bad IVs on some characters. Nearly all of the Hectors I've ever pulled have been +Spd, but the other day when pulling on the Ylisse banner I got a second Karla - +Spd -Def. I was perfectly fine with the +Atk -HP one!

I generally have fairly good luck with natures but my +4 Grima Robin is +Spd/-Atk which says all you need to know about the other 4 I got and why I'm basically "screw it let's just +10 her" at this point.

Gonna suck when I get to +10 and she's still running -Spd or -Atk. She's not even good for skill inheritance.

Gets me thinking, what's everyone's highest merge on a five star exclusive?

I have Innes at +3 with +Spd -Atk as my highest merge. Sanaki is my only other at +2. Brave Ike is the one I've pulled the most though

+1 Myrrh

+1 Brave Lucina

I could have a +4 Brave Lyn, a +3 Brave Ike, a +3 Takumi, and a +2 Hector, +2 Legendary Lyn, +2 Fjorm, and a +1 Celica but I prefer using their skill inheritance instead. I also have a potential +1 Elise, +1 Summer Tana and +2 Bride Ninian but I haven't decided whether I'll merge or fodder them.

I've got a +3 Brave Lucina and a +2 regular Lucina. All of them were off banner and all of them happened around the same time. It was so weird, the game was literally throwing Lucinas at my face. I also have a +2 regular Ike (all off banner), a +2 Katarina, and a +2 Ephraim. The extra Ephraims and Katarinas were all welcome since those are units that I used all the time anyway.

All of my Ikes and regular Lucinas have been -Att or -Spd, which is a bummer.

i have a bunch of +2s now. Linde, Summer Corrin, Inigo, Lyn.
- all Lindes were off-banner: one in the first few days, one from Elincia/Nephenee's debut, one from... Love Abounds i think?
- first Summer Corrin i was pulling for her last year, the others came from the legendary banner when no greens showed up. i didn't even pull much on that banner, those may have been the only two blues.
- Inigo i obviously got all 3 while trying to get Axura
- first Lyn was from my first session of the whole account, second was a free pull from the VG banner which had her and two other reds as a focus, third today from the Summer Tana banner

Hector and Saber are the 5* exclusives i've pulled the most at 4 each, but haven't merged any

This new event requires waaay more stamina than it should. What changes with each 6-hour interval? Is it the bonus?

I drew two +Spd Karla before my first Flying Nino. I never drew a +Spd Flying Nino at all so I went with +Atk. Both of my Myrrh were +Atk/-Def.

I have a +5 Ryoma, totally randomly. Only one was as a focus unit and the rest were pity breakers. I also have a +5 Jaffar but that is more from me going out of my way to get more.

Other than that, I have a +3 Elise, a +2 Young Tiki (all from that legendary banner last month), and a +1 Sanaki.

I already thought the FEH Channel was pretty garbage, and this event is even worse than I thought. Things like supports between units were pretty cool since they have strategic consequences, but it looks like with all the focus on irrelevant nontent like accessories and these "support conversations" that they're just doubling down on appealing to the waifu warriors out there. There's really nothing attainable left for me to chase anyway.
