He's ridiculously campy - the over the top Saturday morning cartoon villain appearance coupled with shit like holding the rose in his mouth and doing ballet twirls, moonwalking, crotch chopping, etc. He's loaded with a ton of personality that's really easy to like compared to his beginnings as a literal "bad Luigi."
