I'd say Killing Bites is roughly similar to Keijo in that they both have fun, over-the-top battles using crazy powers. They don't really have similar tones or anything else, though.

I don't think Killing Bites was as over the top as Keijo though. I did quit it pretty early though, so I can't be sure. But I mean come on, look at how gloriously ridiculous Keijo is.

Keijo manages to take some of the good elements from sports shows and combine them with fan service. Like from a standpoint of actual fan service part its pretty game overall and a lot of the stuff is just played for gags. Nozomi is a fun character and I enjoy her accent. Like the show does a good job at making sure the girls will to win and stuff is on full display. Like yeah its using the sex appeal 100% but it doesnt feel like that. I think I have keijo as a 7 on mal but its one Ive been considering bumping to an 8.

Killing bites is an interesting one because I dont think the cast is good and besides hitomi being a badass (and imo one of the hottest anime characters in recent memory) a lot of the show is bad? But bad in a way where its like it kind of highlights the amazing parts. I think its not as consistently good as keijo which is why I like keijo more. I have to compare this to juuni taisen because a big thing is that killing bites doesnt take itself seriously at all which is why even when its bad its watchable. Juuni taisen thinks its some sort of masterpiece and even though on the surface it might seem like a better show most of the time, the experience you get watching it because of presentation is a lot different.

Its like the same reason why an anime like I cant have H is just really bad when compared to high school dxd. (Except that dxd is also just a better show in about every single area)

Oh on sister anime. I can only recall finishing 4(oreimo, eromanga, who is imouto, listen to me girls). There is actually another one I thought was okay but I cant remmeber the name.

But I want to focus on oreimo and eromanga. Like I really like oreimo overall and I think eromanga is pretty bad. And then I thought about why that was it really came down to that the girls in oreimo had a lot of consistent interaction with the other girls. The character dynamic is just a lot better in it over eromanga.

Killing Bites specifically I may lump into cheesecake, but really I hate it because the first episode was the worst first episode I've ever seen.

I might have given it the benefit of the doubt calling it a fanservice anime, except the made the girls 20% furry and the dudes 85%, and thus they played their hand. Had it been an even split in either direction....who knows! Still started off HILARIOUSLY weak. Also starting with attempted rape, always embarrassing as fuck.

oh yea I've kept up watching HunterXHunter, finished the Hunter Exam arc and started this Operation Rescue Killua one

The ending of the Hunter Exam definitely was the best part of the arc. Was super not expecting to pretty much skip the entire exam and have pretty much everyone pass, including the ninja dude and the bow dude. Super cool. And fuck Killua's brother, creepy ass. I was hoping Gon was gonna shred him right on the spot when he woke up, but breaking his arm works too.

Hisoka I think might be my favorite character, definitely the most interesting so far. Especially with his last scene in the arc stating that Gon was his prey and nothing better happen to him. Super good
