Makoto is still winning the grand waifu-off at the moment, for what it's worth. Although technically my highest female confidants are Takemi and Ann, I don't know how that affects things.

Aww, one of the more interesting facets of the game to me was seeing normal places warped into crazy dungeons. I've seen Egyptian tombs and scantily-dressed pharaoh queens before, I was hoping for her palace to be a normal house or a prison or a hospital or the internet or something. I did enjoy the Indiana Jones boulder with computer symbols and a bar code, though.

one of sojiro's social links levels requires a lot of investment before you finally advance so I'd say yes

I think he also eventually gets blocked by Futaba's social link progress.

Or maybe it's the other way around.

But yeah he is a pretty great social link. Fortune girl is pretty good too from what I remember

Fortune is OK but youre really in that arc for the S Link buffs.

Yeah, it takes forever to raise Sojiro from 3 to 4. Probably because you can't advance that part until after the 4th palace.

well even after getting her you'll still have to spend a lot of time with him to eventually hit level 4 but it's your call when to spend that time

No you can get to 4.

It won't let you progress past 4 until after Futaba's palace though (specifically after the whole arc is over and the time limit passes)

And his confidant rank goes up normally after that point too (as in, it doesn't take 5 billion years per rank- to clarify that's once you're at 4, not just because of the plot)

I like how the little icon of Futaba when you use third eye is just her naked. Like with Kamoshida he was dressed as a king and laughing, Kaneshiro he was in his banker costume and holding money, and Futaba is just straight up naked. She's not even in her pharaoh outfit.

Well, the theme is cliched places that thieves typically rob (although the next dungeon obscures that little). It's kind of neat in retrospect.

There's an unused icon of Futaba in her pharaoh outfit. I don't know why they didn't use it. Everyone had the naked icon that got replaced with their shadow icon when you met their shadow except Futaba.

So am I wrong for never using guns unless the enemy is weak to them? I haven't upgraded guns at all except for one I found in a chest.

Eh

They're another damage type, but they're pretty obnoxious and unwieldy to use because of the ammo restrictions. It's one of those things where, generally speaking, having the option of using it is better than actually using it IMO.

Unless you're getting a knockdown with it, at least.

Yeah that's one thing I hope they change in the inevitable re-release is how useless guns are unless you're hitting a weakness.

They're not strong enough to justify using the bullets otherwise.

I got a request by Mishima to go to the planetarium with him, said no, and he sadly responded that he already bought two tickets and would now go by himself. I felt so bad I reset.

You should never say no to those invitations you get in the middle of the night. You only get one chance to accept and cool stuff always happens

There's a party member you'll get soon who has good gun abilities, but other than that, I just use it to exploit weaknesses.

Yeah, your party members will invite you to watch a movie every now and then, but if you get a late-night invite, it's always a unique scene.
