I'm actually playing through Aqua's story right now, and I don't think there are.

That quote happens in Radiant Garden. The only worlds you go to before that are Cinderella's, Snow White's, and Aurora's. She doesn't see anything negative of Terra, and in fact Cinderella says Terra gave her hope. Literally the only thing negative at that point since she has started traveling is what Maleficent says.

Oh for some reason I was thinking she said that at the end of the game, because there's the Stitch ship that she learns he did stuff I think too. But yea that comes after Radiant Garden so fair enough.

I watched someone play the game for the first time recently and what they said rings pretty true: the game does a WHOLE lot of telling you that Terra is darkness, Terra is doing these things, Terra has an UNSATIABLE LUST FOR POWER but it never really shows it enough to feel fully true or legit. Yea he does a few things but he really doesn't get enough.

I agree. Terra's story is supposed to be this "the road to Hell is paved with good intentions" thing, but what he ACTUALLY does feels no different than what Ventus and Aqua do.

I am enjoying Aqua's story and playing as her, but I'm not sure if that's because Aqua is fun to play or because magic is really strong.

He eventually gets there, but like in KH1 one of Sora's final fights is against dragon Maleficent while Aqua takes her on early on in her story and Aqua doesn't seem to struggle much. Same with fighting Hades and a titan at the same time.

Eh, I don't know if you can really cross-compare like that. I don't think the boss fights are meant to be a referendum on power levels.

I'm not one for power level comparison, but good guy prime power rankings probably looks something like:

Riku > Sora > Aqua > Terra > Ventus

I have legitimately no idea where to place Mickey but he's in that ball field somewhere. Given Sora's leap from KH1 to 2 and some of the plot threads being sprinkled around, he's probably going to end up legit god tier by the end of 3. >_>

Aqua is pretty high and mighty for someone who was going to break into someone's house and murder their family on a whim.

I mean, storyline wise Aqua is pretty ridiculously strong. (Major end game spoilers for Aqua) She ends up defeating Vanitas with the X-Blade, beats Terranort (she essentially beats everyone else's final bosses), and spends over a decade in the World of Darkness where she cuts down tons of Darksides that always gave Sora trouble. I don't doubt that Sora will eventually be stronger than her, but I think she's probably the most powerful Keyblade wielder currently.

That's actually fair - for some reason I wasn't really considering 0.2. Last we saw of her she was 10 years in to a life of ceaseless combat. That would toughen up anybody and she was pretty darn strong to begin with.

I grind at the mysterious tower or whatever. Two three stage battles right outside, then all you gotta do is go in the door and right back out

The enemies don't give quite as much experience but it's a super quick pace. Great for grinding out abilities, too.

Speaking of CoM, where do folks stand on Reverse/Rebirth? Personally I enjoy it significantly more than the first half of the game, though I'm honestly not much of a fan of deck building so that has quite a bit to do with it. That aside, I do like the focus on skill rather than just creating a batshit deck you can stomp everything with.

Yeah the last one (which happens to follow straight after Ultra Riku). Unlike with Vexen you can't just dodge her specials easy and she has a truck load of health on top of it. That and you can't potentially cheese her like with Riku since she can attack (and therefore interrupt) your shit from anywhere on their field.

Mainly got lucky using the Replica buff (so five of the next sleights aren't removed) while carefully using buffed firaga's for counters. Fuck the late game bosses in CoM in general (since you are pretty much going to run out of stuff to finish em unless you grind a ton)

Oh yeah and Donald is utter shit in this game (and of course that is the only assist she decides to drop during the fight and he just so happens to feel like casing thundara which heals her instead of doing something actually useful like cura me or something)

Yea, Reverse/Rebirth is better than Sora's part. I especially love the dueling mechanic.
