Very likely I actually do this lucky. They're realms later in the game's development (well 2/3) so there is less garbage on em and they're also not realms I draw on often. I'm going to wait for the FFIV banner to show up first and see how much of my Mythril it ends up eating though. Scheduled for the 14th so there'll be a small window.

I was actually looking forward to this banner when I first heard about it, but I've been playing around with Noctis's USB (which also gives 100% stoneskin) and it really doesn't last long enough to be useful. At best I could see it being similar to ninja abilities, where it's OP for certain fights but kinda useless for a lot of them.

Also Snow BSB/11 on LD. Might be helpful for CMs but thats about it.

I have a decent feel for how long it'd last as Minwu's my healer of choice and he has a 30% Stoneskin on his Ultra. It definitely isn't something that lasts super long I agree but you'll get a few rounds. Which should be enough for it to be strong.

I mostly just want Dark Knight Cecil to be viable in any case-- same reason I was so hyped for the Edgar banner. Also getting Wall on Paladin Cecil wouldn't be a bad consolation prize. Most of the 2.0 chains I plan to draw on later banners anyway since they all release on realm banners later. I may drop a few on Rikku's water chain but other than that...

Dark Cecil's glint refreshes the 100% stoneskin which helps, he's also really good in the FF4 2.0 torment because it's a loophole that lets him become "immune" to that boss's gravity attacks.

It's a good banner overall main problem is that it's at the same time as the fest that debuts 2.0 chains and many god-tier USBs. If only it was a month or so after or even during Brave Fest since that one's banners look meh.

Looks like Kraken is the third magicite boss I'm able to beat, much to my surprise. Really thought Air would be #3 as I feel Ice is my third best element team but Tiamat is a lot tougher than Kraken it seems. It'll be a slog to run this guy since that's far from a clean win, but I do think it's something I can at least reliably beat.

This'll be useful for making Marilith a bit less painful to run if nothing else-- if I can max the Fire Resist Magicite from here that might help me survive Tiamat too.

Related I was able to get Rank 5 Curada off the White Crystals from this guy. Yeahhhh. That might actually help with these longer magicite fights too honestly-- I have run out of healing once or twice before

Yeah, it's a good banner but it's close to fest and I don't really need more holy because there are SO many holy knights in the game. But if you're a Cecil fan go nuts, that's a big part of what makes the game fun.

Well I'm actually the weird guy who thinks Paladin Cecil is tolerable but mostly uninteresting, but has some fondness for Dark Knight Cecil-- sucks that everything interesting about that guy disappears about 1/6 the way through the game. Would've really liked if the game's events started way before they did and we got to see Cecil actually have his change of heart rather than the game having started after he'd basically already had it and just needed to get a wardrobe change to symbolize it.

And Dark Knights are just cool.

There's a reason I consider the Paladin Cecil stuff the consolation prizes. Luckily literally half the relics are Dark Knight Cecil relics so the odds of me being totally disappointed are low.

i'm following the circle for 4* so far. Tiamat was the easiest one yet for me with Squall/Celes doing the damage, Raijin's last stand + party instant cast SSB, Ramza/Shelke entrusting Raijin (after starting with Ramza's USB and entrusting Squall). though i'm guessing if i went back and fought Marilith with Rosa as my healer instead of Penelo that would be just as easy now.

now i'm not sure whether to skip ahead or not. wind is by far my worst element, with basically just Celes. if they would have just let us pick Edge's SSB for 25 mythril by now like they did in Japan, i could probably do it with Celes/Edge/Yuffie/Ramza/Rosa. or i might be able to anyway, though i really hate to dive another SB-less character besides Shelke.

Lightning supposed to get a USB2 (a brave one, which is inferior to her first one) so her USB1 will be a lot rarer in the future.

Pulled on the Buff Lucky Draw when I shouldn't have

2/11 Mog Burst and Alph Super, both dupes. AUGH. I have to be careful since I did this on impulse since I had 400 mythril.

Man I haven't seen a disco in a such a long time... it's giving me a serious itch for one.

Buff lucky is now an easy skip for a good while. Hyper Mighty G was the last great relic there for me-- I actually 100 gemmed into quite an array of the other great ones. Without exaggeration I'm pretty sure I have over half the 6*s in the pool.

Ancient Foes down. Cloud/Zack wind combo, Ramza shout, Bartz USB, Larsa Astra. Died once each on 220 and ???, throwing lightning resist accessories on the second time put me over the hump.

Wondering if I should pull on the Lightning draw. I'd be chasing Shantotto's chain and Lightning's USB, but I have a few dupes (Lightning/Garnet BSB, Kain USB/BSB). Should I just wait for 2.0 lightning chain, and do I really need Lightning's USB if I already have Kain and Aranea USBs?

You can always buy Lighting's USB in the USB dream draw later down the line if that's really all you need from that banner. 2.0 lightning chains are close enough anyway.

I'm more tempted to draw on this Warrior of Light banner than I should be.

Classic Red Fighter wardrobe record so good and my current light offense is Minwu + Agrias (which to be fair if nothing else can easily sub 30 the 3* dark magicite so it could be worse) so I wouldn't mind a harder carry and/or a Light Chain.

another lucky draw, another couple SSBs. Selphie and Aemo. that's the third healing lucky draw with USBs that i whiffed on. at least this covered 2 of the realms where i didn't have any healing SB for (and the three left all have pretty good potential free BSB picks - Sarah, Iris, Deuce). and Selphie is perhaps favorite character they made a healer in this, though basically tied with Aeris/Eiko/Relm.

I'm skipping this lucky draw since I have most of the good stuff but man it would be nice to get some medicas for realms I'm lacking for like 11 and Type-0. But I just know if I pull I'll get 1/11 Y'shtola BSB.

Also I forgot who said Papalymo doesn't have a future but the current FF14 event in Japan pretty much turned him into the Yuffie of fire mages.

I haven't seen a list yet but I think there's basically like 4 relics on the banner that would help me at all (Minwu USB, Relm USB, Aphmau USB, and Larsa USB) and two of those are basically superseded by Elarra's if I manage to get it. I'm going to try to save my mythril.
