I'm pretty sure that a friend of mine likes me and I'm not even trying to brag but she's a legit 9/10 or 10/10 imo, and I'm sure she's waiting for me to make a move when we hang out but man... it's always in the back of my mind that she's way out of my league and that I'm fooling myself that she even likes me in that way. I'm pathetic CE, I've never really felt like I had confidence issues like this before and this whole thing got me in my feelings and shit.

Just go for it dude. You either get shot down or she's into it. Don't even worry about if you're "good enough" for her, that's up to her to decide.

When guys are all "I don't know what she sees in me?" It's like, who cares? She sees something, and that's all that matters.

Just go for it. Worst that can happen is that she says no. And even then, getting rejected is a lot better than spending time pining after somebody because you're too afraid to make a move.

She either likes you, and will say yes. Or doesnt, and all the waiting and pussyfooting isnt going to change that. So may as well face it head on.

And even then, getting rejected doesnt mean someone is out of your league. Just means she didn't see it. There's 7 billion people on this planet, no one is gonna be a winner all the time.

She probably doesn't know her own league because she recently got hot or something. Go scoop her up before some rando below you does.

I'd legit just ask her one day, or tell her. It's gotta fit seamlessly into the convo though, so if you two are talking about relationships or sexy time or anything like that, slip in a "i'm sorry if this sounds weird, but i've always had a little crush on you," or something to that effect.

Make sure you say "little" crush or whatever. It gives her an out. If you're imagining things, she won't feel bad telling you know if it's just a "little" crush, where as, if she's into you, maybe she'll give you a bit of shit (jokingly) for only liking her a bit.

Either way, it lets her know how you feel while allowing her to make the next move, but it also doesn't put an undue amount of pressure on her.

Buddy, pull up a photo of Geoffrey Arend. Hes not going to win any beauty contests anytime soon. Possibly ever. But hes also married to Christina Hendricks. Now look at Steve Buscemi. Really look. I want you to look deep into those baggy, hangdog eyes, gaze long and hard on those crooked teeth and remember that hes married with kids. That article as well as the comment section was actually an excellent read, I'm happy I checked it out. After the support from this topic and from reading that I definitely feel better about all of this, but let's see what happens when I'm actually in the moment and if any of that changes lol.
