Though, we would still have to have gas stations for long trips and for when you're moving and don't wanna fill the tank. Dikitain 04/21/18 5:27:10 PM #15:	Since my car can now tell me how many miles I can go before empty, I usually let it run until I am at about 10 - 30 miles till empty (depending on how far in the middle of nowhere I am). Since I have a 10 gallon tank, that is probably around 5%. On my old car the gas gauge was broken and always stopped at 1/4 of a tank, so I always made sure to get gas once it hit that. --- I am a senior software engineer.
