Spiral of Erebos

Nilin the Memory Hunter- Nilin is awesome! Fizzles out a bit at the end, but still good. For a few seconds I thought NTR was going to be good too, but then the vocals kicked in.

Easier match for Beneath the Mask than in R1, that's for sure. I can't wait to see it lose due to P5 oversaturation and people being reminded that yes, BAaTH is in fact superior to Spear of Justice... though I dunno if anyone besides me needed to be reminded of that fact.

Second match supremely good. Spiral of Erebos is unexpectedly really solid. I don't recall if I mentioned this in R1 or not, but it somehow reminds me of some royalty free music I heard in a game once but better. Which admittedly is a bit of an unfair reason to like it, but hey. In any case, it has the misfortune of running into Mystic Pendulum of all things right after losing my vote to a super good PMD song, so it looks like I don't even have to worry about it getting an unfair vote from me any time soon. Closer match for me than I expected though.

Great day... partially.

-BAaTH destroys Beneath the Mask.

-This match was closer and had pretty good music. By this point, I was thinking that every single day of the contest was just more exciting with the inclusion of the side bracket, but now I realize that it really gets better as time goes on, since weaker and more forgettable songs are left behind to leave hype... Like an actual contest should be! And I was forgetting that key aspect... How foolish of me.

-The side match is kind of icky, and the worst thing is that it's close, so it was tough to decide and I had to relisten a couple of times.

Oh, whoops, I made a booboo. Doesn't make much of a difference, though. Never to Return (Dissidents) > Nilin the Memory Hunter is my correct ranking.
