I think the only series i know where the girls ditch the main dude and end up together is Haganai anyways, and the dude deserves it because apparently in the later portions of the novel he was an unredeemable fuckwad to the point even the trap ditched him.

I never got why people ever liked Onodera. She literally has 0 personality. At least Chitoge was entertaining and actually developed feelings rather than Onodera who was probably literally programmed to do so

Marika was my favorite, with Tsugunmi and Yui as the runner-ups. All 3 had even more unique personality than Chitose who's just a generic but more of a jerk than the usual tsundere. She's an outright bitch to Ichigo for the majority of the first season. Still would've preferred Onodera though since she's at least nice and honest with him.

Yeah that's the tsundere fallacy, but the more time they spend together, the better Chitoge and MC guy's banters, which is why she won in the end. The 1st half is there to make the 2nd half look even better, and it's better than a relationship dynamic between two people change over time than not. It's an old Shakespearean thing to tame the wild horse in a romance, so to speak, but as a literary device, some people never forget their first impressions, and it kills re-readability. But yeah Marika is probably the most entertaining of the bunch, but overbearing girls pretty much never win (except in Imouto Sae I guess)

Yep, first time I watched it I was like "what the fuck are they thinking? Soushi could solo their whole fucking squad by breathing". But this is the first time they had to actively fight other humans so they treat the humans with kid gloves, not realizing that these humans are actually more evil than the festum.

Omg finally dude! You heard the awesome insert song by angela in episode 9! Such an awesome part of the episode too, and one of my most favourite Fafner episodes ever with Kazuki and Soushi coming in with a badass entrance with their rocket pods to save the day.

And you finally experienced hammy Soushi. This is how he's like when he pilots. It's like it brings out another side of him. Soushi is such an adorable weirdo and it's cool to see his chuuni side when he pilots lol. That screencap you posted is one of those hammy moments of his that I love.

It's partially a Studio Trigger show. If you've seen Kill La Kill or Space Patrol Luluco, you should know by know that using (what seems like at first) mindless fanservice as a metaphor for a bigger message is one of Trigger's biggest trademarks. Kill La Kill turned out absolutely amazing after it was originally written off as mindless fanservice, and after this most recent episode, Darling in the Franxx has a decent chance to reach those heights, or at least close.

Watched Episode 3 of Gun Gale Online.

I love that Protag has a ton of P90 toys and keychains. It's great.

My boy M finally showed back up. That's hype.

This show inspired me. The French Defense Operators in Rainbow 6 Siege can use a P90, and a Pink Gun skin exists. The only thing is the Pink skin is only available through Alpha Packs, this game's loot boxes. So unless I get a lucky Alpha Pack, RIP the dream of using P-Chan.

I should go check if there's a pink-looking camo for SMG's in Modern Warfare Remastered, since the P90 is in that game. That's probably the only chance I would have (outside of SAO Fatal Bullet) to use P-Chan. The Skorpion (the gun LLENN was dual-wielding before she discovered the P90) is also in MWR but can't be dual-wielded in that game.

One last thing regarding the whole Darling In The Franxx episode 14 fiasco. One of my favorite Youtubers posted a video about it today and explained that the "death threats" that were allegedly sent to the creators, producers, voice actress, etc., never actually happened. The closest things to a "death threat" was a meme image that was made two months ago and an obviously fake tweet that was supposedly a death threat. All the articles that were posting about the insanity (and admitted they had no concrete evidence of such threats), all the arguments that happened online, the show's fanbase basically cannibalizing itself... was caused by fake news.

So @SDBZ @GiftedACIII been without internet for the whole day, so that meant finishing fafner

Holy shit this is probably the greatest mecha series i've seen in years, i was tearing up all the way from canon's "death" to the end of the show... this was too much for me.

I can't say i liked how things got "resolved" by the end, felt a bit rushed, but i guess that's why there was a buildup for like... 10 eps... also i really feel bad for Maya... she didn't deserve all the shit she went through...

At least most of the cast i liked survived... minus canon, she legit became my favorite character of the series by far, even more than maya, she was probably the character that had the most development across the 2 seasons.

So you guys said there's a new season coming out soon? i wonder what sort of mess will happen now, between the new mir, Altair, the old mir from the island, and whatever other threat is left... is there any?
