Just look at OJ. He was guilty but paid everyone off to declare him innocent. Why? People have been working multiple jobs to support their families for centuries. Just because you're asshurt about not being paid enough to hand out papers and click next on a powerpoint presentation doesn't change the fact that being a teacher clearly isn't that hard, which is why market value for a teacher simply isn't that high.

Are we still talking about professional athletes or are you simply equating high school dropouts to pro athletes? Because pro athletes contribute shitloads of money to society via purchases and taxes, in addition to doing things like charity work, using their platform to speak for higher causes, giving inspiration to children and teens, all while providing entertainment for millions of people.

JJ Watt helped raise 37 million dollars for charity in the wake of Hurricane Harvey, that's more good than you will do in your entire life.

Also, pretty sure teachers halfassing it is the common trope, not pro athletes. Pro athletes who halfass their job lose their job. Teachers who halfass their job are common in literally every single school in the country.

i've tried before. I could always get fast food jobs but retail never seemed to want to hire me. though I never worked the register at fast food places I saw the shit customers gave them and i'm betting its not a hell of a lot different in retail.
