I don't think anyone but ardent LeBron haters and maybe a few Cavs fans would hold it against him for leaving again. Everyone knows that at this point winning another championship there is effectively impossible and he's already done everything he needs to do. Since he got them a championship he can happily go into the Hall of Fame as a cavalier and all Cleveland fans will get over any animosity they may feel when he leaves.

I think there will be a fallout when he leaves, but when his career is over and it's time for him to retire, the Cleveland fans will be rushing to claim his as their own again.

I can't imagine people will care that much, I think everyone realizes at this point that the Cavs are horrible at building a team and don't have any sensible plans besides hoping LeBron will bail them out. They got their championship and LeBron is bound to start declining soon. He also isn't going to do a Decision special again or "not one, not two, not three..."

I would be shocked if he got bad press for leaving this time. Shocked. Unless he joins the Warriors or maybe a Rockets team that just won it all if that comes to pass.

Maybe I'm going crazy, but I think the NHL is the worst run league of the big 4, but it's the least popular so it kind of gets swept under the rug. Bad officiating, no consistency with fines/suspensions (just like the NFL), stagnant salary cap situation, bad CBA which makes lockouts an inevitability, bad ownership for the most part. They are also just as guilty as the NFL for hiding the whole concussion issue. And they still allow fighting! I get embarrassed to be a hockey fan when there's a fighting a hockey game.

How often do full-on fights happen anymore though? Almost every time I see guys start shoving and throwing punches (with full pads still on), the refs are pretty quick to get in and break it up. I wouldn't really know that well, but I feel like those things used to escalate a lot more and fights would happen almost every other game.

Not that I'm excusing the fights they do still allow. Haven't most lower level leagues started to ban fighting? Maybe it'll be something that phases itself out of the game over time with fewer players growing up with fighting as part of hockey.

It only happens in the regular season. Depends on the team/player, but maybe once every like 5-10 games a team will have a full on fight with 2 5 minute fighting majors given. It's allowed by the league because they think it makes the sport more popular, but it's literally WWE.

There will be scuffles, but full on fights never happen in the playoffs and the olympics because the players are actually playing the game and don't want to do stupid ass WWE stunts. And yeah it's banned in a lot of levels of hockey.

It's also a big cause of concussions. A lot of fights don't have any real hits, but if you take one clean shot to the face, especially from a professional athlete experienced with fighting in hockey, it's going to do damage.

I feel like it would make more sense for someone to start a new farm and only play it when someone else wants to hop on. The problem is you're beholden to the one guy playing no matter what, but there isn't a way around it. Unless there is. But from what I've read it doesn't seem like it.

Fighting is the worst part of hockey. That's why the playoffs are the best part.

I know you guys are joking about doing those things, but can you actually have two girlfriends or date other human players? I honestly have no idea.

Well you can have as many girlfriends and boyfriends as you want in the game, but only one spouse. And yes you can marry other human players for some reason.

I've said it before...I don't know anything about basketball, but D Rose is playing a fucking awesome game. Some Twolves fans were adamantly opposed to signing and I dont' understand why...it's minimum contract. There was literally nothing to lose and no downside, and he's been playing very well

Mostly because he can't do this on a regular basis anymore (or rarely at all, even), and yet he frustratingly does not adjust when he's having an off night. Dude's a liability more often than not (see games one and two).

I had to look them up, but they do certainly look pretty cool, despite being packers colors. For me, baseball jerseys do a really good job of looking plain/boring and classic/sharp at the same time.

I find that the font style and any logos on the jersey are really important in baseball. The A's elephant logo is awesome, and their font is great too. Also, low key awesome hat.

oooo that's a nice shade of powder baby blue. that looks old school in the best sense of the term...it's what modern jerseys try to replicate when the try to go "old school"

anyway I'm going to post my top 5 jersey/logo combinations for NHL/NFL/NBA/MLB minus the minnesota teams (all strictly opinion based of course)

My top 5 favorite jerseys for every team that's not my favorite teams:
(each team has home/away/alternate jerseys of course, so I'm just going to go with their most recognizable ones, like if this was the vikings, it'd be their purple jerseys)

Everything about this sweater is sexy...the logo, the color scheme, the deep shade of blue with the white and the lighter shade of blue...I'm obviously not happy that the Jets just stomped the absolute shit out of my favorite team, but I still like them (except Byfuglien)


2. Vegas Golden Knights. Like I've said, the name of the team is terrible, but the jerseys and logo is f&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&ing awesome

yeah that's kind of the point of those rules - no bias. Vikes would be my #1 for NFL, but that's the only MN team I'd include in my top 5 for any sport.

I forgot how sexy the Leafs jerseys are...they're probably my #6.

I'll figure out my MLB/NBA ones later, but god damn those classic yankee gray pinstripes with that iconic Jay Z logo are really great (and I fucking hate the yankees)

Good, they've been a bunch of bullshit this year, so they deserved to be taken down a peg.

I'm not gonna rank unis, but on the subject, I will say that I don't think Denver has any real great ones, but I admire that all four teams use fairly unique colors. The Rockies don't wear their purple enough though, and the Nuggets have started getting away from the powder blue, so they're less unique lately. I wish the Nuggets would go back to the skyline style. There's just something about retro NBA jerseys that works - just look at the Warriors, Sixers and Hawks (and to some extent the Wizards). Their jerseys now are more like their retro designs, and they look miles better than the previous ones.

Yeah, the Rockies Purple jerseys are great. Their gray unis are also pretty good too, because their font and numbers really pop in purple.

If the Nuggets had their skyline style, I might have put them in my top five. And jeez, those last Baron Davis Warriors jerseys are extremely bad.

The Jags just got new jerseys. They still look pretty bad, but their helmets finally lost that weird microsoft paint 50/50 pattern

I'll admit that I put the Dolphins and Magic in semi-intentionally after I saw how many Florida teams I already had. It was hard to come up with a third team for most of these (except the NHL where all three were tough), but the top twos came to me almost immediately.

In my humble opinion, the Phins shirts are not bottom 3. They're middle of the pack. I really like the orange/teal/white combo, but the logo is effing lame. A lot of potential but poor execution.

I don't hate the Marlins jerseys, honestly. They're unique and work for a Florida team, and the colour scheme is awesome. Meanwhile, we have the Brewers (awkward font and boring colours) and the Indians (uninteresting dark blue, awkward font and racist logo), which I find much worse than the Marlins, as well as the D-Backs.

And the current Ducks jerseys in the NHL are terrible.

Well I can understand your opinion on the Phins, but I didn't really know who else to put there. I think their jerseys were decent before, but with the newer ones it's a bit too much, something about them looks off.

I agree with you on the Ducks. I thought about possibly putting them there, along with the Stars and Blue Jackets. But this is just taking cursory glances at each jersey, I don't have them memorized as well as other sports

Off the top of my head if I had to pick top 5 non Cardinal baseball jerseys they'd be something like A's, Rockies (not the pinstripes though if they still wear them, just the purple), Yankees, maybe the Royals, then god knows who. Astros possibly. Dodgers are alright but the Royals are a better blue jersey. The Angels solid red ones aren't bad but they're not the most exciting solid color

I love the Dodgers white uniforms with blue cursive text. Very classic and elegant. Probably helps that they're just like a blue version of the Cards uniforms.

Rockies and A's get points for the unique color schemes. I like Toronto's logo a lot. Seattle's teal is nice. I don't feel like talking about the other sports.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. The black jerseys are always sleeveless, but they wear them with black t-shirts underneath, so I don't know why they don't just add sleeves. Are you saying you've seen them wear those without sleeved shirts underneath?

I thought they had a short sleeve option for the black jerseys. Am I wrong? Maybe I just don't know any better when they wear them with a short sleeved black shirt underneath.

The Marlins are the only other black jersey you can think of? Uh, White Sox and Mets? I also wanna say the Orioles, Reds and Giants have some black alternates. The D-Backs probably have one because they have like eight different jerseys
