The more I listen to Mamamoo, the more I appreciate their talent and respect them. Why aren't they bigger? EDIT: Maybe it has something to do with the silly name? Idk. Still not a fan of their name but that's not what makes or breaks a group.

Hwasa is my bias in this group. Finally someone that isn't the main vocalist! Byul has a beautiful personality, Solar is really cute, and Wheein is really pretty, but Hwasa just has a little bit of everything. I like her voice's sound the best and I think she's very unique. Also, she does harmonies like a boss! I approve.

I mean, Mamamoo is unique as a group compared to other Kpop girl groups. They're like nothing I've seen yet. 3 girls who could definitely be main vocalists in other groups, abnormally good live, not the normal Kpop idol girl faces, they take part in writing some of their stuff... there's a lot that's different about them.

I really like just about everything on Melting (still hate Taller Than You!), but very little of the rest of their discography is stuff that I'd consider great. A lot of it is just fine but I feel like their style changed and it isn't quite as good as what it used to be. But definitely they're a group that I've gotta keep up with.

mamamoo is actually either a top tier girl group or right outside of it depending on who you ask. maybe it's harder to notice because their international fandom is comparatively small, but they have huge public recognition domestically and are massive on the university festivals circuit.
