Found this book last week and was instantly hooked - Thiaoouba Prophecy

http://www.bioresonant.com/freebooks.html

It's free and about ~180 Pages. Doesn't really matter if you believe it or not but it does make sense in a lot of aspects

If you're bored or curious about the universe it's a great book

It is very confusing and I will most likely "Screw up" the explanations described in the book.

It is mainly concerned with spirituality and "the truth" of the universe. One of the biggest revelations the book introduces is the idea of Jesus Christ existing but not what we think he was (he was actually an alien sent to act as the savior of humanity)

On one hand, that probably sounds absolutely ridiculous but the logic behind everything seems reasonable considering Jesus was real, but nobody understood the reincarnation part

It also talks about how materialistic this planet has become. This made a lot of sense to me because in the book it talks about how the "younger generation" is going to catch on to this, and the government/religion basically hiding the truth from all people. It also talks about what happens after death (which again makes sense since the "spirit" is actually an electronic force)

I feel in love with the book because it just seems so... honest for the lack of a better word. Even if the whole thing was made up (which I highly doubt) there are a lot of things in the book that do add up. Especially considering the fact that it was written in the nineties and some of the facts stated are being verified in modern time.

I really don't understand why this book isn't more popular but I have a feeling it will pick up in the future

I really recommend this to people who are curious about things like deja vu, inner/higher self, death, and spiritual evolution. It just aligns with so many things I have been thinking recently.

Again, just want to emphasize that it can be difficult to believe/take in. I am still trying to wrap my head around everything

Here's a much better summary of the book from the author himself:

Q. What is the main message of The Book ?
A. The message from Thiaoouba is that material technology, without spiritual knowledge, is leading us to inevitable global catastrophe on Earth. Technology should ASSIST in the spiritual development and not be used (as it is used now) to enslave people within a monetary system and materialistic world, which are both temporary anyway. Superficial is an excellent word you can use to describe the monetary system and materialistic world.

At the moment, we focus most of our attention on our physical bodies, but this is a serious mistake. The physical body, like everything material, is actually temporary, whereas the psyche, being part of the Astral body never dies... We should concentrate on the development of the mind ...

The people of Thiaoouba also stress the importance of our individual free will. "We all have free will and it is up to us to discipline ourselves in order to improve spiritually. To impose one's free will on another, in a way which deprives the individual of exercising his own free will, is one of the greatest crimes that man can commit..."

In view of such a statement, our entire society on Earth is based on wrong principles. Most people are forced to follow the flock... The Book not only describes a full diagnosis of the current situation, but also contains detailed instructions of what to do and how. Specifically, how the same problems have been overcome on other planets similar to ours. The most important is the context of this information: the purpose of our existence, demonstrated by very advanced people, who have themselves passed our current stage of development long, long ago.

That's fine. A lot of people are going to have the same mindset and it's exactly why I said an extremely open mind is necessary to read it. Otherwise you won't care about anything at all. I just think most people should at least give it a chance. At least read the postscript where he talks about how most will view the book

It's free

I've never heard of that so I'll look it up later tonight

The author explicitly states that he doesn't want anything like a new religious group/cult forming because of this book but I wouldn't be surprised if that happened anyway due to people misconstruing it

Out of random curiosity I glanced at the first few pages. The first few ideas he presented already were using flawed reasoning and that was enough to realize it would be a waste of my time.

This sounds like the show Ancient Aliens. I watch that sometimes, but because it's hilarious. Bat-shit insanity is fine to read or watch as long as you know it's lies and you appreciate it for that. It sounds like you actually believe this crap, which is worrisome.
