Bayonetta:

The motorcycle mission on the missile mission. As cool as the missile mission is, I just like it very much. Bayonetta 2 has a similar part, but you're in an aircraft (or an arwing ).

Dragon's crown :

Only six different classes to play as.

Super mario world:
Only 3 power ups. Yoshi kinda makes up for that though.

Super smash brothers 4:

This is a stretch, but the single player content is lacking compared to brawl.

Kingdom Hearts 2: Press X and occasionally triangle to win

Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Story isn't as good as the original

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Story sucks ass

Xenoblade Chronicles: Combat with most characters is just auto-attacking and arte-spamming until they recharge

Tales of Symphonia: Ymir Forest and Latheon Gorge, especially putting them back to back

Modern Warfare 2: Hackers online (and not the fun kind who give mods to everyone, but the boring kind who just hold RT and kill everyone)

Main Pokemon games - Linear + unskippable introductory nonsense which is unnecessary for regulars and annoying during replays

Saints Row games - Most of the challenges are annoying and the fact that content tends to be locked behind them makes it worse.

Monster Rancher main games - Too RNG-dependent, often leading to a lot of resetting to not fail training which can damage the game itself (burning out the GBA cart's batteries and prompting over-saving with the DS). Then they punish you for that mechanic in some cases, like MRDS.

90% of lightgun shooters - Too damn short.

Final Fantasy VIII - Random and Direct rules in Triple Triad, some of the characters are occasionally ridiculously stupid, and first bit of disc 2 kinda sucks.

Kingdom Hearts II - Sora and all the Disney characters exist(as in Disney Town/Castle and such not 99% of all characters in the game) and the mandatory gummi segments are a chore.

Bloodborne - Multiplayer is often kind of a mess, the best gems are locked behind chalice dungeons which are tedious, and could do with earlier access to some weapons.

Terranigma: The magic system is ALMOST completely useless, tied together with a collectathon for the means to cast more spells (but why?).

FFVI: Horrific balancing that makes a drunken elephant on a tightrope look graceful.

Tales of Phantasia: The only legitimate version(s) we Americans got was the atrocious GBA port with its near-soulless translations and its delay between your inputs and the actions in battle. Meanwhile, we never got the superior versions. But hey, at least we get a laugh from the end of the world being called the Kangaroo due to a translation error (probably the best thing about that translation, ironically).

Tales of Symphonia: So very many of its tropes became cliches the moment this game first came out, making you question if it's worth it to give a damn if anything's cliche or not.

Wild Arms (original game): It's so easy to cheat via item duplication that it isn't even funny, and you can max your stats early because of it, eliminating what little challenge even existed in the first place.

Wild Arms 2: The English translation, full stop. Also Tim.

Wild Arms 3: The pacing tends to put a lot of people to sleep, or turn them away, before they can enjoy the best fights or the fantastic story. Also, 97% of the main story seems to end at the 3/4 mark, so the final arc drags a bit with a seemingly out-of-nowhere villain reveal despite her being there all along.

.hack//G.U.: It takes so damn long for Haseo to grow into a tolerable character, personality-wise. So, so long.

.hack//I.M.O.Q.: It really has not aged well, both graphically and in terms of controls.

Super Metroid: I have to compare so many other games in the series to ITS standard, even the first Prime.

Metroid Prime (and Prime 2): I have to compare so many other Metroid games to it/them, including Super Metroid. Also, jumping platforms in first person is a bit of a butt.

Star Ocean 2: It takes an hour or so of unskippable scenario and dialogue for the game to truly to begin. Yet, that's not the worst thing about the game. The worst, and I can almost not forgive the game for this, is Bowman.

LoZ a Link to the Past: It's not "Link's Awakening" or "Makora's Mask"

LoZ Link's Awakening: It's neither "aLttP" nor "MM."

LoZ Majora's Mask: It isn't "A Link to the Past" or "Link's Awakening."

I bought a gameshark just to permanently remove the Random rule. Screw that. You can get rid of it in game by doing this complicated and tedious series of steps with the Card Queen, but this can take hours.

You should only ever draw GFs really. Even if you(somehow) dont like Triple Triad you can refine monster drops into magic.

i usually judge if my characters are strong enough to battle on autopilot. if so, i wedge a needle in my control and take a break. i check back every so often so i don't over-max out on one character and waste time.

Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete Some of the bromides are stupidly difficult to get. Like there's absolutely no way you're finding them all without a guide. Also some of the dungeon music gets repetitive fast.

Phantasy Star Online Episodes I and II: Not nearly enough variation in the dungeons, I would love a way to move faster (especially through already cleared rooms), and it takes way, way too long to hit the level cap.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Umm... I guess the final area (Stone Tower Temple) doesn't really have as much to do and isn't as interesting as the other three areas. That's about it, though... that game is damn near perfect.

Chrono Trigger ......I got nothing. I guess if I had to pick on something, the original translation was a bit wonky in some parts and suffered under the NoA censorship requirements of the day (like Toma's "Soda"), but that was pretty much all fixed in the DS remake.

Phoenix Wright (the first trilogy): The games occasionally get annoyingly hand-holdy. Don't present me with a logical puzzle then have my assistant flat-out tell me the solution before I've even had a chance to try it myself.

Fantasy Zone: Dying robs you of all your upgrades, which can be crippling in the later levels. Honestly if you die at the boss in the last two or three stages, you may as well reset your game, because you're screwed at that point.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars: Too easy and the level cap is too low.

TIE Fighter: Needed more fights against the rebels. In a game where you play as the Empire, it's unacceptable that you spend (far) more time fighting against other Imperial ships than rebel ones.

Super Smash Bros. series: I really do have nothing for this one. Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing with these games.

Trails of Cold Steel: Leans on anime tropes a little too hard and I'd have liked to have had more choice in party composition the way the sequel allows.

Banjo Kazooie: Dying resets your note collection from a level, meaning you have to get all 100 notes without dying which, in some of the later levels, is super-annoying (looking at you, Rusty Bucket Bay).

Legend of the Mystical Ninja: At two points in the game it makes you shell out close to 1000 in-game gold (which is a lot) to proceed, for no particularly good reason. Those parts just needlessly slow down the game.

Super Metroid: ....once again, I have nothing. This game is perfect.

Xenosaga Episode III, gameplay wise, it is super SLOW.
Story-wise, it is awesome!
Soundtrack, it is fantastic!
Characters and design, great!

If only there is a feature to make the battles and the loading times quicker, it would be top notch in that area too.
