Fiora's systems seem to be shutting down after she lost her monado. My theory is that either she'll die which "frees" up Shulk to be with Melia, or Linada is able to make her a homs body just in the nick of time. Either or, it has to be.

Well, one of those is correct.

When I first started playing with Melia a lot of people were telling me that she becomes really strong end game. But she still doesn't seem that great. I use a party of Shulk - Dunban - Reyn which is by far the strongest trio there is. Especially in attack chains. From breaking-toppling-dazing enemies to doing a chain of red based attacks, nothing seems better than that party.

Especially now that they all have pink hearts with each other.

Melia has some of the worst AI in the game. She's good when YOU play as her.

Might as well just tell me the name/from who, I'm sure a little spoiler quest wise won't bother me

It's Melancholy Tyrea, it should've appeared after the Mechonis Core events. It's from Tyrea, a collapsed High Entia just outside Colony 6. It should be at the gate between Hope Farm and the Watchpoint Junction landmark.

SO I did this mission and... yeah. How interesting that out of all the sidequests this one is voiced and has cutscenes and everything.

But it's weird because A, I've completely forgotten about Yumea and they never show her again after her plot against Melia fails, and B I completely forgot who Tyrea was at this point, 120 hours in (a flashback would have helped) and I feel like a lot of Alcamoth was underutilized. I kept expecting to see more of the secret Bionite order that NPCs were going on about, and see first hand the experiments with Telethia. Dickson and Alvis being part of the Trinity was a revelation, but Lorinthia just kind of pops up when her and everything Alcamoth related isn't quite that developed.

Exploring Bionis interior now so maybe we'll hear more about all this but yeah. On a sidenote wow I can now make several Monados for Shulk, that's kinda cool. Funny how late into the game they open up that feature for you.

Yeah, I have a feeling with that quest they either:
- Wanted it to be part of the main plot but couldn't figure out how to fit it logically considering the current events happening. (Which is an issue they had with one other plot point that they scrapped that I won't spoil until you finish the game.)
- There were going to be more in-depth sidequests like this but they didn't have the time or ideas fleshed out enough to do so. This idea for in-depth sidequests would become Affinity Quests as seen in Xenoblade X and 2, which are far more numerous.

Ah ok. I look forward to finding out what the other plot point was once I beat the game. Don't think I'm gonna bother with any more sidequests, I'm itching to finally get to the end game now that the story is in full throttle.

Oh and another thing that was funny about this quest. They showed Tyrea flying away with those wings on her head. When I witnessed how hilarious that looked, I realized something... I think that's the first time they've shown us the high entia actually flying and using those wings on their head wasn't it? Thought it was just aesthetic since there's no way even the larger wings could support a body enough to fly, and being placed on the head instead of back is just... yeah. If it's not aesthetic, it's an extremely uncomfortable place to fly supporting your entire body while yanking on your head. Not a big deal just something that really stuck out to me.

Yeah, I had the same thought. I thought they were like...flightless birds or something, lol.
