together forever was really big. obviously youngsters who only know rick astley from the memes won't know it but yeah.

There probably aren't too many folks on B8 older than I am, tbh. Certainly not by an appreciable margin, anyway.

I think it's one thing to say that you had songs 20+ years ago, and another to say that you have them now. In Living Colour had songs other than Cult of Personality. Faith No More had songs other than Epic. That doesn't mean anyone other than fans remember them, though.

Sure, in 1987. How many times has anyone listened to it since?

And then I look at the YouTube video of it, which has 49 million views.

Hanson: MMMBop, If Only

Smash Mouth MIGHT fit this. You ask most people for songs and they'll tell you "All Star" and "Walking on the Sun". But they also had "Then the Morning Comes", though not as big as the other two.

Cold may be as well. I have most of their albums, but all I've heard on the radio is "Stupid Girl" and "Happens All the Time"

Mostly one hit wonders while trying to add more here

Forgot about that one.

Looked up their singles performances. Smash Mouth is a three hit wonder.

All Star: #4
Then The Morning Comes: #11 (this one really surprised me, I didn't think it was this popular)
I'm a Believer: #25

Walking on the Sun, despite reaching #1 on both the Adult and Alternative charts, did not appear in the overall top 100.

Quite a lot of the songs listed in this topic have only charted on the Adult or Alternative or Rock charts, not really a metric to go by.

For example The Offspring never had a top 50 hit on the main chart

I actually think Radiohead might fit this description of two hits despite being one of the biggest bands in the world and selling a lot of albums. They've only had three songs on the Billboard top 100, Creep, Nude and High and Dry. Of those, I'd say only Creep was a big hit that most people know. The second song most people know by Radiohead would be Karma Police, something that didn't even make the Billboard top 100.

Does anyone else here really love Get Real Paid off of Midnite Vultures? I think it's one of his best songs, but its lack of being released as a single has obviously limited its reach. He did play it live when I saw him, however.

Radiohead has more than one song? I mean, as bizarre as it sounds, I can name more Radiohead albums than I can name songs.

Then The Morning Comes is not a song I've ever heard of, so I can't give that much credence. The other song you're looking for, however, is Walkin On the Sun. Not sure how you missed that since it's the first song and it charted to #1.
