Neither.

Plenty of better things to do in my region than travel to Ohio or Florida just for an amusement park.

I guess. Though traveling with friends can be fun.

Personally, I would have to look it up, but probably Cedar Point. I've been to Disney World a few times. And had lots of fun. But I haven't been to Cedar Point. But roller coasters are one of my favorite things. So, yeah...

I don't know much about it, but I think I heard it was the roller coaster capital or something...

I love roller coasters

I've been to cedar point

But anyone who votes cedar point has obviously never been to Disney world

Disney world isn't a park. Disney world isn't 4 parks. Disney world is just like it sounds, a world of its own. Huge property that you'll never leave, tons of hotels to explore, lots of places to adventure even not in the parks. Disney world is amazing.

Maybe. But I've been like 3 times. And it is fun. I had a blast. I went to a bunch of parks, included a park that is just a giant multi-floor arcade. But I haven't been to Cedar Point at all yet. And I love roller coasters. And it would be fun to see a new place that I've never been to...

I've been to DW multiple times and borderline hated it. Haven't been there since '82 or '83, and the ONLY reason I would even set foot in DW again is to ride Space Mountain.

Tough choice.

I grew up going to Disneyland but I've never been to Disneyworld and would like to.

I also like rollercoasters and Cedar Point sounds awesome.

Fuck it, I'll do both.

That depends: How long and who's paying?

I grew up in the Detroit area, so Cedar Point was pretty much an annual thing. I wound up working there two summers during my college years (back when Mantis was new, and still Mantis). Since moving to upstate NY, I've only been back there 3 times in 16 years. I've also visited Disney Parks 3 times in that time period. (Twice to World; once to Land, which was an add-on to a trip to CA for other reasons). I'm planning a trip to Disney World for this time next year. So, basically, since it's a long drive now for either CP or WDW, Disney wins out slightly unless I'm really in the need for coasters.

I'm about an hour and a half drive away from Cedar Point...but almost an entire day's drive away from Disney World...

So...Cedar Point just for the fact that I can pretty much just decide "hey, I don't work tmw, going to Cedar Point!!" Even tho I've only done that twice lmao

I like Disney World, but would need to do more planning if I wanted to go.

Also, it's sad going to Cedar Point alone but absolutely depressing going to Disney World by yourself...

I've been to Cedar Point once (for only 1 day) and I wish I had spent about 4-5 days there. I've been to Disney World once (on a 5-day pass) and I wish I had only spent 1-2 days there.

Disney is fine, but I like thrill rides and Cedar Point is much better for that. Disney feels like it's stretched thin, there's what, 4 different parks, + the water parks? But each park only has a couple of worthwhile points of interest. Whereas Cesar Point felt like it was much smaller, but it was absolutely packed with good rides.

If you mostly just want thrill rides, then no, Disney is not the place for you. Thrill rides at Disney are fewer and farther between, and those that do exist are relatively tame. You go to Disney for the experience. It's not just a park, it's its own immersive world.

Maybe if you're under the age of 10, but I never went as a kid. As an adult, it's just a decent theme park with nonstop product placement.
