Is this basic tit- for -tat childish antics? Nunes memo was useless and a sideshow, are dems doing the same or am i missing something?

ahh, i remember hearing about this, slipped my mind. Even then, the dems memo just seems like a counterbalance / defense against Nunes memo, regardless of when they release it. The thing is, Nunes' memo was a joke, so is this really necessary?

It's to correct the falsehoods in the Nunes memo, and it was just unanimously voted on for release so even Republicans see how big of a joke the Nunes memo was.

i just feel like people who put any value in nunes' memo aren't going to change their minds no matter what is released from here on out. This just seems like dems are stooping to the level of this clown show by releasing a rebuttal.

It includes all the evidence the Nunes memo ignored. They want to release it to represent the actual story, so Republicans cant hide behind their false narrative.
The Schiff memo only exists because Republicans were desperate to release a memo founded on such blatant lies that Dems were forced to call them out in force. Ideally neither memo would be released, but Republicans are scared.

Kind of. It was only thorough and preemptive commentary on the memo leading up to and immediately after it's release that kept it from picking up steam in the first place. And if you're a Trump supporter you still believe everything it says at face value, because the white house itself believes it.

yea, i get it. Its just pathetic this needs to be done. There are supposedly more memos coming out so this process may repeat itself again
