I had 80-some, but I spent 10 on my barracks yesterday, so now I'm at 80 even. I should probably be up to 100 by the time I finish some special maps and more TT and the story missions that come with the banner. Hopefully that's enough to get Celica.

They've been giving us a ton of orbs lately. I've pulled in over 200 since the Hector banner went up.

I've chased a handful of units since the Halloween banner and have gotten them without too much investment. I've been lucky. Myrrh, Hector, Airzura, and Brave Ike were the only ones I pulled for since then.

Why didn't they just make his name Grima. I mean it might not have technically been "correct" but you actually could've avoided spoiling people I think cause the art is honestly far enough off. Dumb.

I think it's pretty clear they just don't care about avoiding spoilers. I'm not sure why -- maybe they buy into the Netflix theory of "actually, spoilers make things MORE enjoyable" or something.

Awakening came out almost six years ago, which I'd say is past the statute of limitations on spoilers. Echoes not so much but the spoiler is honestly not a big deal. Same with what they did with the Black Knight - it's a blatant spoiler but the games are 15 years old and the spoiler itself actually doesn't affect nearly as much as you would think.

Apparently the upcoming GHB is a huge Conquest spoiler, plus they've spoiled a bunch of games in random dialogue even when it would be super easy to just talk about some other aspect of the character. I dunno, it just seems like they actively aim for it.

(Also the idea of a statute of limitations on spoilers is definitely not how it works for many, many people.)

But you would be kind of unreasonable to demand people to be hush about say... Romeo and Juliet which has been a thing for literally centuries.

With the exception of Genealogy, I don't feel like Fire Emblem is a series that has spoilers that I would call a big deal. It doesn't really build up or rely on twists. Well, Fates has some secrets about its plot but Fates' storyline in general is bad so who cares if the next GHB is spoiling that.

Got Grima in around 40ish orbs. Pretty lucky considering green orbs were being typical green orbs(0-1 per pull) with Grima appearing in the one 2 green orb pull.

+Def/-Hp not bad I think.

finally got Lyn, oddly enough just a few summons after my pity rate was reset by my third Linde. Lyn's +spd -res, Linde got merged immediately and i think was neutral. then got another Hinoka from my third summon of the new banner. worse than my current Hinoka, and honestly not super useful as fodder anymore since i got Airzura. but hey i won't complain. now i gotta decide whether to keep going for Hardin or go for Gunnthra/new legendary for that new game mode (once i get orbs again, of course).

Nice, those are a couple good off banner pulls too. Hinoka is still useful if you want to build a second flying team for AA. That's what I did since I have three hones. I'd probably just merge any duplicate Hinoka I may get since I use her often.

Celica is probably the least impressive of the three, and I'd normally think she'd be the one to be demoted...but she's the only girl and a popular character. I'll wait until the legendary banner at least to decide to pull for her.

I also failed to get Celica with about 100 orbs. Think that'll be it for me though I only like the design so much.

Got combo broken with Siegbert at 4%. Might actually be the better draw overall. Atk Tactic seems pretty awesome. I'm thinking I want to put it on Valter since I'm usually running him with mixed compositions anyway. Seems like a waste of his Panic Ploy 3 but his stat spread kinda wastes that anyway.

Maybe Cherche instead but I like Valter more.

Siegbert himself is better than the skill. Galeforce, heavy blade and Life and Death is great with his innate swift sparrow. Shame about the art though

Attack tactic might be pretty nice on Sanaki. Her weapon already encourages a mixed team, and she can grant 3 additional attack via her weapon refinement. Makes a good pair with guidance.

Never got most of the fates kids but his portrayal here is certainly not endearing himself to me

I don't actually have Sanaki. I do have Lancina which is a pretty similar idea but on the other hand she's an infantry and I'd rather avoid putting it on infantry since that's my most used unit type-- I feel like it would be a burden to build teams with an Infantry unit with Atk Tactic. I also kinda think a flier is best because you can more freely move them and they can have guidance.

Hinoka is a probably the objectively best choice for it of fliers I have but it feels like a waste of her Hone Fliers and Hinoka as a character isn't one I'm going to be using a ton either.

I don't see the issue with Robin's art. Nothing will top Florina and Lloyd, and hopefully, that doesn't change.

Undecided if I want to pull on this banner. If I do, it will most likely be for Grima, since I feel like going for a red sword with non-built in DC is not worth it unless the character is godly, even if Celica has nice art. I actually like the art for all four characters, but that thing behind Takumi is very odd-looking. I assume it's supposed to be an aura/spirit/smoke, but it's got a little too much going on

i got back into this game earlier this week and was surprised at how much content it now offers.
fortunately i've been around since day 1, came in and out of it, and have a crapton of 5* units to play with. i'm just really impressed at how much there is in this year old game and that they've evolved the mechanics into their own.

that's... odd. Hector was in second by a ton in the first round, but his votes actually dropped a fair amount from round 1 to 2, with Azura and Tharja's votes going way up to put him back in 4th in round 2.

basically, we had almost 3x as many votes in round 1, so that means Hector could hardly pick up any new voters in round 2, and even Ike didn't pick up a huge number.

Love Abounds Hector killed Hector's support is my guess. I think the hardcore support went to Tharja in Round 2 when it clearly favoured Hector before.

His fanbase more than him, I'm neutral on Ike since I never played the games he's in.

He's just... boring to me. A well rounded, DC infantry sword, absolutely nothing about him excites me in any way.

Vike excites me because I can finally use my favorite character in Arena at Tier 20 thanks to creeped stats and the Blessing. I already have a +1 variant and voted him so i could get that up to +2. No regrets. Especially since he's been crushing it in my matches. He's a really good sustain tank thanks to Radiant Aether being busted.

Also because they'll presumably be giving us a neutral IV version, and through experience I've come to the conclusion that neutral would be his best IV. I have +Atk -Spd and I find myself really missing that Spd in a lot of cases.

Grima would excite me if his art wasn't horrendous. Looking at it is unpleasant.

Yeah Grima would be an auto draw for if that art weren't so bad. Especially since I'm not sure when I'll be able to make a dragon emblem team without him. I like Adult Tiki and to a lesser extent Ninian (almost entirely because the art and VA are great in this game-- wasn't exactly fond in FE7), and Myrrh is fine, but the rest of them are awful. It's probably the worst art in the game and that includes Lloyd. (not even sure why Florina is being mentioned on that bottom tier btw)
