I feel like the only game I can enjoy these days is Overwatch, and, even then, for like a couple hours every few days or I get burnt out.
I have all these games on Steam and PS3 but none of them interest me anymore.

The last game I picked up was Dark Souls 3, because the Souls series has always been fascinating to me. I craved playing it so badly I caved and bought it on a Steam sale, and then, after a couple bosses, I lost all interest.
My friend gifted me Vampire: The Masquerade. After being really hyped to play it, I got bored literally after 30 minutes.

This has been happening for a while so I tried to see if I could fix it somehow. Buying games and getting bored of them is a very expensive lifestyle.

So. I started replaying an old game that I beat that really hooked me my first time, to see if I can reignite that gaming drive. FFX. Got bored maybe 4 hours in.

So. I started playing an old game that I never ended up beating, TWEWY, to see if that would spark something. Got bored maybe a couple hours in.

I currently have so many open save files on so many games I haven't beaten and I just...don't feel like playing them anymore.
New Vegas, Transistor, Dragon's Dogma, MGS: Ground Zeroes, Halo Wars, Long Live the Queen, Shadow Warrior, and more.

Is there a way I can get back into it? Am I doomed to be a casual Overwatch fan for eternity?
Do I just sit my ass down, force myself to beat a game starting from the top of the list and work my way down, and risk hating games forever as a consequence?
I don't know, man. I just don't know.

Feels like fun doesn't come so naturally to me anymore as it used to.

Just stop playing. If you ever feel like playing again then only play what's actually fun from the start. You can't force yourself to enjoy something just because you enjoyed it in the past.

All of the games you listed seem to be long RPG kinda games. Maybe try out games that are more focused on fun gameplay and a bit more simple. Something that doesn't need a big commitment.

You're struggling with Fallout New Vegas? That game is over seven years old. I think you need to come around and admit that you just aren't that interested in video games any more.

Play something completely off the wall and out of character for you, something you'd never think you would even begin to enjoy. Maybe something will click.

It's usually the really simple games that pull me back in. I'm talking bargain bin Wii shovelware-tier stuff like Marble Mania, games I can play in short bursts and still progress at a steady pace. Going in with absolutely no expectations also seems to help.

I was in a similar rut for a few years. every now and then a game would come out that'd drag me out to play it (DS III comes to mind) but even then it felt in between a chore and a hobby. I think the only game from 2015 I even played was the Witcher
then 2017 came out and kicked my ass. there were so many good games it was insane. I played RPGs, I played fun indie games, I played AAA games, etc. I bought a Switch on a whim last November and I think I've used it more than my PS4 so far this year

That...sounds like a good idea.
But I tried both Halo Wars and Shadow Warrior and they held my interest for half the game before it died off. Same with MGS: GZ, and I'm a hige MGS fan.

I beat the main game and Honest Hearts, and when I got to Old World Blues, despite the first 10 minutes being funnier than all three Borderlands games, my interest in it just died.

Maybe I am just past video games.
I think I'll take two pieces of advice from this topic, and try one more off the wall random game I don't usually play, before giving up for a long time until something pulls me back in.

It doesn't really help that a majority of games out are mediocre and/or filled with microtransactions and DLC and season passes

It really does destroy any sort of "luster" that a game could have once you see that the whole thing is about how to give you the best video game demo to supplement the cash shop experience

There's a couple of shorter games that I'm really enjoying atm. Great for a few hours here and there. FURI and Celeste. You could try out Ori and the Blind Forest, but that one can get long. Hollow Knight is great if you enjoy metroidvania types, I play it in short intervals. If the persistence doesn't pay off maybe time to start stamp collecting or ships in a bottle? :P

Video Games are such a large part of myself that admitting defeat would make me a boring person.

I think I should avoid buying new games lol.

I was really addicted to Horizon: Zero Dawn when I borrowed it from my brother and it held my interest for a long time before suddenly vanishing.

Just take a break. Step back and do something else. Wait until the urge occurs and then play whatever whenever.

Simple as that.
